My brother went to see Dr. Karen because he was referred to her. I was going to have a teeth cleaning this Wednesday and after he told me about how great a dentist she was, I canceled my appointment and was able to book one the same day.
Dr. Karen and the rest of the office staff are very nice. Though Dr. Karen is the pediatrics dentist, I asked if she could clean my teeth and the person on the phone said she could. She is very careful when she was cleaning my teeth and then educated me about how to take care of my teeth better. She's very knowledgeable and patient.
I highly recommend this office over other dental offices.
Just a note, they accept credit cards, but you will be charged a surcharge.

OC Dental Specialist has the most professional looking dental office I've ever been to.  This is the first time I've seen a water dispenser for hot/cold water, a Krieg, and a large big screen TV in the lobby at a dentist office.  The doctor and office staff are amazing, they pulled strings and gave me what I asked for, much quicker than I imagined it was going to happen. Because I had a connection to Dr Karen, who I've never met, she was able to match a quote from a previous dentist and give me a complementary third opinion on my wisdom tooth extraction and even ask Dr. Fernandez for a special favor to have a Friday night appointment.  Even after the initial consultation, Dr. Karen came to look at my teeth and told me something that my previous two (three) dentists never mentioned.  Because of this, I may now have to consider further advice.  I will again consider OC Dental Specialists again if needed.
To say the least, my impacted wisdom tooth from x-rays and a picture from another dentist, Dr. Fernandez, was brilliantly able to extract the wisdom tooth within 20 minutes!  He had to tell me the tooth was out or I would have never known it was out. I felt no pain at all during the extraction thanks to Dr. Sharma injecting the local shot.  Even the shot barely hurt.
I have to graciously thank Lakshmi for surprising me with a call the week before, (conveniently when I just got home from work) at 6pm to ask me if I could have the appointment the next Friday. How could I refuse... I was asking for a Friday appointment, I had to take it.
The other 2 office staff, Karen and Yadira graciously put up with all my calls the night before and day of the extraction.
All in all, it was a real team effort that I got what I needed all thanks to my wonderful connection to Dr. Karen.  She is a very dedicated dentist who I referred my brother and mom to for their teeth (after she looked at my teeth), who I can trust.  A bonus, she was willing to chat with me in Mandarin as well, having Mandarin as my second language.

Went in for an emergency tooth situation the day before I was leaving for vacation. They squeezed me in and worked through lunch break to fix my teeth. I felt so seen and heard and cared for. This is my new permanent dentist. I just went back to have veneers placed and I totally cried because my teeth looked so amazing. I’m so happy that a terrible situation turned out so well in the end. Do not hesitate to make this dentist your home. You will not regret it!

I recently had a fantastic experience at this dental office and I can't recommend them enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The office manager, Natasha, went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was top-notch.
I needed to have two teeth extracted and a deep cleaning done, and I was quite nervous about the procedures. However, the team at this office was incredibly professional and skilled, which helped alleviate my fears. Dr Fernandez who performed the extractions was gentle and thorough, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The deep cleaning was also done with precision and care, leaving my teeth feeling incredibly clean and healthy.
Natasha, the office manager, truly stood out with her exceptional customer service. She took the time to listen to my concerns and was incredibly empathetic towards my anxieties about the procedures. She went out of her way to ensure that I was well-informed about the process and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Her attention to detail and genuine care for patients' well-being truly sets this dental office apart.
The facilities were clean and modern, creating a welcoming environment for patients. Lakshmi was very  friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience pleasant from start to finish. Overall, my experience at this dental office was exceptional, and I am beyond satisfied with the care I received. The extractions and deep cleaning were performed with expertise, and I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process.  Natasha's and  Lakshmi's outstanding customer service truly made a difference in my visit, and I am grateful for their empathy and attention to detail. Lakshmi even called me the next morning to see how I was doing! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dental office to anyone in need of quality dental care. Five stars all around! Beware Borderline Scam Artists! (All the 5 star reviews are apparently because this office hands out gift cards for positive reviews) Read all it just gets worse 1. When getting a cleaning one of the hygienists SLICED my tongue 2. I asked abt my tooth that had been giving me pain this dental office said it was nothing of concern I went to another dental office (HB dental and Ortho, highly recommend) turns out that tooth was cracked and I needed to get it fixed asap. 3. I came in for TMJ issues and they wouldn’t listen to my concerns about my bite and just tried to sell me a 750$ splint when I wasn’t ok w the price they changed it to $600… (didn’t fall for that) When I went to the other dental office who helped me for less than half the price (and the office is a lot nicer) HB dental and ortho fixed my bite in 30 min. Because I was just biting my permanent retainer and couldn’t close my mouth fully. 4. This office took 2 X-rays on the side of my mouth I don’t have TMJ issues on instead of one on both or 2 on my actual side which I have problems with. I can only believe this level of incompetence is on purpose. 5. They “automatically” set me up for another appointment which I KNOW I didn’t make or approve because I’m out of state on the day of the “automatically” scheduled appointment. Oh and there’s a cancellation fee if you don’t notice they scheduled you without permission within 48 hours. Honestly, this is criminal.
