After interviewing 8-10 cosmetic dentists in LA & OC, Dr. Sarah stood out to me because she spoke of "feminine definition" which I wanted to keep from my real teeth--didn't want straight across or too white--so I chose her because she understands definition. She did a makeover of veneers on me, and I couldn't be more pleased. She's excellent at creating natural definition & color so the teeth look real with your smile, mouth shape, skin tone. She's also gentle, listens, discusses with patience. I'll show you the "after" photo here! I liked the process with her staff, how they took it step by step with several visits to make them perfect, didn't rush the process. Both Margarita and Gina are wonderful, smart, and kind. I want to start by saying that my veneers look great and the staff has been very courteous and accommodating. However, I want to give an honest account of my experience because it’s very different from those of the other reviewers.

I had four veneers put in by Dr. Jebreil on my front teeth. Here’s what happened to each of them:

1. Broke as it was being put it. Had to get a temporary again and then got the new one a few weeks later.
2. Chipped after one year. Replaced at no charge. Got a splint (night guard) per recommendations.
3. Chipped after 1.5 years. Was charged a few hundred to cover lab fees.
4. Chipped after 2 years

By the time the fourth one broke, I had moved to another city, so I had to find a new dentist to get it replaced, spending another two grand. I think the part that is the most upsetting to me is that the gum around the fourth veneer that was replaced by my new dentist is visibly healthier than the other three gums are. To be fair, the other three aren’t unhealthy, but if you look closely, there are red rings around those gums that don’t exist on the fourth one.

After the first one chipped, I became super overly careful with them because of the constant fear that they will break again. Some of the things I am now too afraid to eat (or have to eat super carefully) include: nuts, chips, bread that are "too toasty", very sticky things that I have to bite into, hard candies, and probably some others that I'm forgetting. I am also afraid to even take a nap without my night guard for fear that I will grind my teeth and break another one. Over the course of these two years, these veneers have brought me so much anxiety and frustration to the point that I really don't know if it was worth it.

I researched doctors for over a year and spent about $1500 in consultation fees before I decided on Dr. Jebreil’s office. Choosing Dr. Sarah Jebreil for my smile design was the best decision I could have made. She is a perfectionist and cares not just about aesthetics, but also about complete oral care and dental hygiene. I have always hated my smile – my midline was off and each of my natural teeth were a different length. Also, my teeth had significantly shifted and started to crowd, so much that my front teeth flared out a bit. Even with Invisalign, it never fully straightened my teeth or corrected my bite. The increase of Zoom meetings only highlighted my flaws (and insecurities), and I decided it was time to invest in my smile.

I was skeptical on having a smile design because even though I hated my smile, I didn’t want thick, fake, “denture-looking” teeth. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I know that bigger, thicker teeth are trending. However, it was very important to me have a more natural looking appearance to my teeth. Smile design is challenging because you can’t just pick out a smile that you like…your mouth size, tooth size, shape and alignment are all factors that need to be taken into consideration. That is why finding a doctor that not only understands the look you are going for but listens to your needs is just as important. I knew for sure that I wanted my canines to be more pronounced and preferred my front teeth to be more squared and slightly longer in length than the rest of my teeth. Dr. Jebreil not only understood what I wanted but went the extra mile and sent back the initial set of veneers because they weren’t absolutely perfect. She emphasized she wanted me to be 100% satisfied with the end results.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Jebreil and her team. They were welcoming, passionate, and professional throughout the entire process. I decided on 10 veneers total – 6 porcelain and 4 composite – and KoR whitening. Margarita, her office manager, knew how to work with my insurance to help offset some costs so that I could stay within budget. They really take the time to focus on their patients and go above and beyond. It is also worth noting that I hate needles and the process of numbing my mouth makes me anxious. Dr. Jebreil’s technique is quick and painless! And she made sure I was completely numb throughout my entire procedure.

My smile looks incredible. Because this was such a big investment, I had put it off for years. But I regret not doing this a lot sooner. I liked this office so much, I transferred over to get my cleanings done here as well.

The best thing I’ve ever done is get veneers by Dr. Sarah. I have never been confident in my smile until now.
