Overall great experience getting my wisdom teeth extracted. I’m still relatively young compared to most people who remove their wisdom teeth so I was nervous and scared about possibly being in pain but it went smoothly. Doctor William was great, I had no problems with the anesthesia and the recovery was almost painless. I’m a little past a week since I got my teeth removed and I’m experiencing no pain and healing well. Thanks to Jennifer for being so nice and charismatic and helping out with the process and my check up. She gave me reassurance that I was doing amazing with my recovery and all thanks to Jennifer and this team, my experience was as comfortable as it could be.

Very professional dental surgeon. Thank you Jennifer Liu very much. She accompanied and took care of my daughter throughout the whole process, comforted her, and made my daughter not afraid of the surgery. The surgery went smoothly and was completed in about 40 minutes. Jennifer explained the precautions before and after the surgery very clearly and in detail. She was very professional and patient.

From the point of walking in till after my check up a week later, the dentist Dr. William Kwon DDS, MD., the lead assistant Jennifer, and the others Jasmine, Carina were all very nice nice, friendly and above all professional. I had to get a tooth extraction and I was worried like most but they made me feel safe and put my mind at ease. Despite there being an earthquake during the procedure, they worked right through it. My gum healed right away and there was little to no pain during and after. I highly recommend coming here if you have a choice.

Dr.kwon and the staff were really helpful and polite answering any questions i had. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and couldn’t have went any better I had little to no swelling and they provided me with everything I needed to recover properly it’s been 1 week and I feel great how everything went 10/10

I recently had the pleasure of visiting OC Max Surgery for an oral procedure, and I must say, the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who are genuinely some of the most caring and considerate professionals I've ever encountered.

Dr. Kwon, in particular, was amazing. His friendly demeanor and comforting presence immediately put me at ease, turning what could have been a stressful experience into a surprisingly pleasant one. Dr. Kwon required a patient to have a 3D CT scan of their teeth which is not covered by insurance, costing an additional $315 after the panoramic X-ray, before proceeding with wisdom teeth removal for young adults. He explained that the 3D X-ray (cat scan)was necessary to check if the wisdom tooth was wrapped around a nerve. Additionally, a $385 plasma injection procedure was also required plus insurance. When the patient inquired about opting out of these procedures, Dr. Kwon refused and suggested that it might be best not to remove the wisdom teeth since they were not causing pain, even though one wisdom tooth was growing sideways and pushing against a molar, as seen on the X-ray.

The office is clean and the staff is nice, but both Dr. Farshidi and Dr. Kwon pressure patients into unnecessary procedures with additional fees.

I’m so glad I had Dr. Kwon remove my bottom two wisdom teeth! My procedure was a bit different since my bottom wisdom tooth was practically sitting on top of my nerve which complicated things. However, on the day of my surgery, Dr. Kwon performed my surgery smoothly and he made sure that I was doing okay days later! I recovered within two weeks and regained sensation on my lips! Glad Dr. Kwon was cautious and skilled to help me out 🙂

Had an amazing experience at this office. Dr Kwon was extremely helpful and thoughtful. He made me feel so comfortable and reassured despite my severe anxiety. I had 2 coronectomies performed and felt no pain whatsoever. The whole staff was welcoming and friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with fear or anxiety. Autistic friendly.
