I’m not too educated on dental insurance or insurance alone. This is my first time using my private insurance and I didn’t know where to look or who to go to. I originally had an appointment somewhere else to get a consultation for braces. Upon further digging and looking at reviews, i immediately changed my mind and decided to go with Wesslen Orthodontics. I’m so glad I did! The assistant that helped me was beyond nice, super helpful! Dr Wesslen was very easy to talk to and broke down what was going to happen and how. The price was reasonable for me, I actually thought it was going to be more so I’m satisfied with their pricing. I left without any questions or doubts about my decision, I wish I would have known sooner how great this experience was going to be. Anyway I’m so happy to be writing this review I can’t wait to start this journey and have confidence in my smile thanks to Wesslen Orthodontics!

Wrestling Addiction

I had treatment done by Dr. Wesslen several years ago, and I feel as if he gave up on me. I had my braces removed when I was about 14 years old; I am 21 now. I still remember to this day when he asked me, right next to the little sink, “I think this is as good as we can get it. Do you want them to be removed now?” My younger self, not knowing any better, said yes.

I was told I needed my primary molars removed from both sides of my upper jaw. This procedure has ruined the way I speak, eat, bite, breathe, and rest my tongue. I am now left with a severe underbite and several gaps leading from where the primary molars were removed to in between my central incisors.

I returned to Dr. Wesslen a few months ago about this issue, and he seemed unmotivated to help me. I was also told I would be called with a follow-up about my case, but I never heard back. I’m sure this was just a rare mistake, but it haunts me knowing that this procedure has ruined my bite for YEARS! when I should have a perfect smile instead.

His staff is like the Avengers of orthodontics—each one with a special power, whether it's making you laugh, answering your questions before you even ask, or making you feel like you're the most important patient they've ever had. I’ve never felt so welcome in a place where they tighten things in my mouth!
