So far, my experience here has been amazing. I transferred from a place in Cullman for my own convenience, and they've treated me so well thus far.

I just had a root canal done (currently waiting for the crown appointment) and aside from a little discomfort periodically, it's almost like I didn't even have dental work done. I was very nervous beforehand as I've heard horror stories about root canals, but it really wasn't painful at all (to me). They made sure I was very comfortable the entire time. Very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable.

I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone in the area.

Best Dental Center Ever!
Dr Shivani and Penny make a great team. Dr Shivani thoroughly explained my dental needs and my treatment plan. I was so impressed with their staff and the playlist was super upbeat while the tv helped me relax. I plan to opt in for nitrous next week when I have my dental work done. I’m not dreading a root canal so much now and who can say that? The soothing environment and expertise of both Penny and Dr Shivani ease my mind.
The receptionist was super kind and organized. I forgot to get my prescriptions and she phoned them in for me. I felt really bad calling her 3 minutes before their office closed but she was happy to phone them in.
Also I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Oneonta Dental center offers extensive dental care for all of your needs here in Oneonta.
Definately the best Dental Center I’m so happy to have discovered.

I started going to Oneonta Dental Center about six months ago after needing a crown and my regular dentist was not equipped to do the same day crown. I didn't want to have to go back after the temporary was done so I called Oneonta Dental Center they were very generous and worked me in that day and I have been a patient ever since. Got my second crown today and the dentists and staff are always very friendly and professional and have the most modern equipment. I highly recommend Oneonta Dental Center for all your dental needs.

I wouldn’t even give them one star if I didn’t have to. I went for a regular cleaning and they tried to up sell me a deep cleaning, costing me and my insurance company over $ 1,000. The dental hygienist was very pushy and demanded that I allow them to do a deep cleaning. I refused to have a deep cleaning and I was told that I needed to go to another dentist. The only deep cleaning I was going to get was a deep cleaning of my pockets.

Our family has tried this place twice. I went anyway I probably needed a couple fillings, I was told I needed 2 root canals. I new my teeth were in bad condition I have been bedridden for a couple years. I went to two different dentists in Birmingham for their opinions also. Both confirmed that root canals would have been a waste of time and money. I did have to get the teeth pulled and a partial, but it was clearly a money grabbing issue.
We decide to give them one more chance, my husband went in last week to get it cleaning, After waiting 45 minutes and x-rays he was told they would clean it do a cleaning.
The owners before this we really liked. Just keep on driving to Birmingham if you want good dentistry.

I am a patient at Oneonta Dental but was wanting to find a place closer to home. Well I found out that I was already seeing one of the best dentist in Alabama for a fraction of the cost. So I went back to Oneonta Dental just this week and was able to get the work done I needed with such a sweet and wonderful staff. Well worth the drive! Each staff member was kind and respectful to me.

Going to the dentist always makes me nervous. Yet at Oneonta Dental Center, the kindness, professionalism and humor of the Dental Hygienist Ashley, the very comfortable head rest, watching the birds at the bird feeder outside the window, listening to calming music, the original artwork of animals in the waiting room, the many rooms available for teeth cleaning, the offer of whitening service, the efficiency and knowledge of the doctor all made it an uplifting experience that put me at ease. I plan on coming back regularly.
