My 5 year old granddaughter was there yesterday for some work. The office has a problem with staff and scheduling, no child should ever have to wait 4 hours to get a procedure done. That is child abuse, no food for hours before and nothing until after.
Sorry, but adults would not be treated the way they treat your child without filing a complaint, but parents will allow your child to sit and wait.
There has to be other places in Bakersfield that treats your child better and not abuse them.
File a complaint with the Medical Board of Dentists. Look the site up on the internet an you can do on your phone. Procedures need to be changed with this office and scheduling needs to be done so no child has more than a 45 minute wait.

I know if you are looking at reviews, then it's most likely because you are worried about having your baby put to sleep. I was also very worried. I looked at the reviews, and most of them complained about wait times. I'm not going to complain about that because they were upfront with me from the beginning about wait times. My appointment for my son was at 10:30. It's now almost 1pm and he's almost done. That's not bad. Most of that wait is just them making sure after he wakes up that he will be ok to walk and everything else. The care and attentiveness I got here was unlike any dental experience I've had before. My son didn't even need to be scared because they take care of everything while he's sleeping. It's across the street from a hospital too, which is a huge plus! Please take it from me, this place lifted a huge weight off my shoulders and my son's. He's leaving here today with a fresh start. No more cavities and he's getting everything done in one shot. I really appreciate this place. I wanted to throughly wait before giving a review, but this place deserves a good one. I am my son's protector, and I would never leave a good review that made my son feel a certain type of way. The nurses were so kind in the back and made him laugh that he felt really comfortable. The ladies up front were so nice and put on the movie that my son requested. I don't want to have to do this again, but if ever needed, this will be the place I do it. I 1000% reccomend. Great job everyone.

I took both my daughters there for the first time getting dental work under general anesthesia. All staff were friendly and explained everything throughly. The dentist made my girls feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend this dental place if your kids have a hard time getting dental work done at a regular dentists.

Brought my 3 yr old for his dental surgery and everything was smooth and excellent! The staff was amazing to us, they were kind patient and explained everything thoroughly.
The wait time was appropriate given they are doing a whole procedure! Idc waiting as long as everything comes out well.

I loved the service provided today at All Kids Dental Surgery ❤️staff was kind made me feel safe but more importantly my Son 👍 totally recommend taking your children here .

As others have mentioned, you’ll probably wait longer than the appointment time given. That is because the dentist cant give a specific estimate of time, until they do an exam. My 3yo son was required to fast 12 hours prior to anesthesia. His appointment was at 8 but he was not seen until about 9:45. The dentists finished up around 11am. Besides waiting nearly two hours past our appointment, my son and I had a good experience. Staff is kind, and the facility is clean.

Didn't have to wait long which was great was a lil worried about a long wait period.
Appointment was at 930am by 11am they started the procedure after all paperwork and confirmation from doctor I love the staff very welcoming and caring....other dental places like smile dental traumatized my son and I never want to put him through that again...

If you are like me, you’re probably reading through all the reviews on here. My daughter is on the spectrum and her previous dental visit at Smile land was traumatizing for the both of us. Finding the right dental care for my daughter has been overwhelming and stressful. Nonetheless, I am soooo grateful for all the staff I communicated with through my daughters visit today. They were soo understanding and reassuring. They walked me through the whole process and answered every question I had. We had a morning appointment time and we’re seen very quickly. Facility was very clean and organized. The hardest part was not being able to be with my child but it was totally understandable. They all acknowledged my daughter and made her comfortable. 10/10
