Love this place! My co-worker recommended this place years ago since it was under our plan but years later, I and many of my friends still get check ups here. I grew up with dentistry in my family and this is one of the best dental offices I've ever been to. Super clean, the front desk staff are always super nice and professional. I've seen many hygienists there over the years and they are always very thorough. I've only ever had cleanings, once the Dentist suggested I get braces and she's not completely wrong but I appreciate that they dont try to upsell unnecessary procedures. Also it's in a mall with lots of fun shops, I go to H Mart and Beard Papa now every time I go there.

I had a surgical procedure done that took two hours. If you're not Korean, they are very impersonal. Instead of providing me something to kepp my mouth open while they cut open my gums and clean and stitch it back up, they made me keep my mouth open on my own for two hours. And the only time they gave me something to help keep my jaw open is when they wanted to take photos. If you're not in the LA area, avoid this place. There's much better if not the same quality of dentist in the same vicinity.

I have no doubt on the skills and expertise of the doctors at Onedental. However, I wanted to suggest that nurses/hygienists remain quiet and focused during surgery/treatment. It has been bothering me so far, I would appreciate it if they keep the session quiet. Dr.Kang was superb. Also the ladies at the reception seem to be too hurried and hectic. I understand they want to make sure every patient be on schedule, but I did feel uncomfortable when I was rushed. One last thing is, I want to hear the comments/recommendations from doctors only. I feel like my services at the office is personal, and others' comments seem overly involved.

My previous dentist just retired so I decided to give this place a try based on reviews. The experience was ok/bad.

My dentist was Dr. Jung or Dr. Chung. She came in after the cleaning was over and spent a maximum of maybe 2-3 minutes in the room. As soon as she entered she asked the hygienist if there were any areas of concern and checked the area quickly. She told him to write down what she recommended, said a few short words, and then promptly left the room. She seemed to be busy and in a hurry to leave as the office was closing in a few minutes. Keep in mind, I arrived promptly at my appt time. They shouldn't take appts in the late afternoon if they have to rush and provide lackluster care.

Maybe I got lucky with my previous dentist, but he would usually spend time explaining the x rays, any trouble areas, and ask if I had any questions. I'm not even sure if she looked at all of the x rays. She focused on the one area that the hygienist pointed out. I had to ask the receptionists at the end if everywhere else looked okay since the dentist didn't review anything with me and just left swiftly. They said if she didn't mention it, it meant it was okay. Interesting.

My hygienist, Dan was amazing though. It was probably the best cleaning I've had. He explained everything thoroughly and even gave tips on how to better care for my teeth. He made me feel very comfortable. I'm sad my experience at the end was poor.

I honestly don't recommend going here if you are a new patient. There are other dental offices that are more than willing to spend more than 2-3 minutes with you to answer questions. They're also on the higher end as they charge $800 for a partial crown without insurance. Luckily, I have insurance but they said they would need to check if my insurance will cover partial. Anyways, I don't trust going with them for more than a cleaning as they don't even have the basics down. I'm only giving them 2 stars because the hygienist was amazing.

When I first came to One Dental years ago, Jennifer was the office manager, and she was incredible. She made sure I was scheduled for regular checkups with the dentist which including x-rays, and a thorough exam to examine where my teeth were and what work needed to be done.

Since she left I haven't had anyone care about the long term progress of my teeth. I do my regular cleanings and have to beg to even be seen by a dentist.

I had a crown fall off that they put in and no one responded to my emails or calls to help get it sealed back on. In addition, the crown is a half crown, which leaves my tooth exposed to bacteria build up between the tooth and the crown. I had to go to another dentist which ran me $400+ to get the crown re-sealed. Again, someone has yet to ask me about this, despite my multiple phone messages and emails.

When I visit the office I'm generally ignored by the front desk, the woman at the front desk is on the phone 24/7, and if you try approaching her to "sign in" she just puts a finger up to be quiet and wait.

I was promised the same dental hygienist as my last visit, but ended up getting someone completely different - he was fine, but not who I had specifically requested.

The dentists are constantly leaving, so you never know who you're getting.

Overall this place is cheap, and if you're not wealthy enough to afford good service and care you're stuck with One Dental.
