amazing place. a bubble of happiness and sanity in the city of Tampa. I found some extremely friendly people who immediately put me at ease. they kept my little daughter for the whole day so I could do my course. a simple but very profound course with which I was able to understand important things that will help me in everyday life. there are a lot of different courses at a ridiculous price compared to what they give. I wish I had time to do them all.

This building should be owned by the government but the only ones who had the money to purchase this historic building was Scientology & they are good neighbors. This building was the cigar factory of Ybor - the Spaniard that was exiled from Cuba and came to Tampa in 1885 to build a Cigar city - bringing thousands of Cubans over to America - away from the Spanish Empire. The black steps are a replica - the original steps are in Havana Cuba - they are sacred as this is where Jose Martini gave his speech “Cuba libre” prior to spanish American war 1898.

Great historic building with some historic artifacts from the Cuban Heritage of the property as a cigar factory. Friendly Scientologist staff that will guide you to see some of the buildings history. Also a great place to get a basic understanding of Scientology and the Scientology mission/philosophy/religion. A no pressure environment as this organization does not aggressively recruit, they simply educate and allow you to decide to pursue them. Ron L Hubbard also is a great author and wrote many resources you can purchase here to help you through life and have a better understanding of the world and how to effectively interact with it. Many excellent books can be purchased here that may change your life or simply help you at a time of need. Anyone is free to enter and explore Scientology or just the history of the property. (Note: I am not a Scientologist but I love to learn and I do find the writing's of Ron L Hubbard helpful and effective)

This is like a time capsule and the only thing reminding you it's 2021 is the restaurants and breweries all over. Nice place something out of a book and deep history in relationship to immigrants and culture.
