Came here originally and left a 5 star review. After getting my boyfriend in to have a wisdom tooth extracted due to it causing him pain, he ended up with a worse problem. To start things off we came in and the front staff had a horrible attitude towards another client. It made me uncomfortable to have my s/o be seen there. The dentist was quick with the procedure and things seemed to be fine. After leaving a couple hours later he had excruciating pain (and he doesn’t usually complain about anything so I knew it was painful). They only gave him normal over-the-counter Tylenol. I was upset that it was the only medication he got and I waited hours to receive that. After 24 hours he was having the same amount of pain so we came back and they looked at the surface of the extraction and sent him away saying he was fine. We ended up going to the emergency room at 2am and he got oxy prescribed, which also did nothing to ease the pain. He took some and we needed up seeing an oral surgeon a couple hours later, and they took X-rays and a 3D image and immediately extracted the plug they left after the extraction. It was black, covered in blood, smelled horrid, etc… the oral surgeon’s office was extremely helpful with preventing the worst from happening. They were so worried if it was left in any longer he would’ve had an infection. I will never tell anyone to ever come to this clinic. I was originally told to remove me 3 star review as well so now this one is here to stay. Also keep in mind that they open at 9am sharp and are only open Friday-Sunday. It was $1,500 for this one tooth extraction and they didn’t take his insurance because they didn’t bat an eye when they took his medical coverage card and NOT the dental coverage information. I will never send someone to this establishment.

Needed to take care of a broken tooth ASAP. Got me in fast and took care of the issue. Didn't try to sell me on anything else. The Doctor was amazing and explained what was going to happen and what he was doing. The assistants were great as well. The office was clean and relaxing Will definitely keep coming here.

I had intense pain that kept me up Saturday night. I called Sunday morning, they saw me right away and I was taken care of really quickly. This team is professional and kind, the office is clean and cozy. I was in and out (getting a wisdom tooth removed) in about 45 minutes total. Highly recommend!

Thank you for creating a peaceful environment for an emergency situation out of our control.
Our son fell and chipped his front tooth. He ended up needing dental work. They made a same day appointment. We had amazing experience.
Dr Hoang took his time explaining the recommended procedures. There was no pressure from anyone. Everyone was extremely friendly and we felt very peaceful. Mikayla was really sweet and helped ease our mind through this unfortunate situation. Our son was brave and a champion. He had no fear!!!
We ended up setting up an appointment for our other child to get her wisdom teeth pulled out. We highly recommend Emergency Dentist San Marcos!

I’m really glad I found this dental office. And to be open on a Sunday was shocking. I had a completely cracked and infected tooth that had caused swelling in my gums and cheeks. The extraction of my tooth was smooth. Overall the staff were just superb in my opinion. If you have an emergency I highly recommend that you come here.

Had a great experience under the circumstances! Mikayla at the front desk was wonderful, the Dental Assistant was kind and very capable! Dr. Korya was gentle and his bedside manner was impecible! Considering I was in a great deal of pain and was very nervous, the staff at Emergency Dentist San Marcos was a Godsend.
