Excellent experience! I was welcomed into the office with a smile from Mari, the office manager. I was promptly seen by Sharon for one of the most gentle cleanings I’ve ever had. Dr. Kelly was also very gentle and spent a long time looking at all of my teeth and talking with me. As a dental professional of over 10 years, I highly recommend this office for all of your dental care needs!

When my previous dentist retired, I was slightly crushed because he was so trustworthy, and he took care of my teeth for many years. I decided to continue with my small town dentist office because it's what I had known for so many years, even though I travel from another town to get there. Dr. Kelly is such a perfect replacement. He's incredibly knowledgeable and uses the latest technology for the best results. I had a crown put on about 4 months ago. The tooth that had the work done had been bothering me for oh, about 3 years (it was a tooth that had a childhood cavity, then a filling replacement as well)...but it was my choice to continue with the nuisance until I decided one day not to. The tooth had some kind of rough edge around the gum, and fibrous foods always got stuck there. It was seemingly impossible to get out, no matter what kind of floss I used. Everyone has experienced that annoying "pressure" you feel when something is stuck between your teeth. Now imagine you can't get rid of it until you find a piece of gum to chew on and literally get it stuck to whatever is in-between your teeth to pull it out. The second issue I had with that tooth was it likely had a hairline crack that was not visible with x-rays. I hadn't been able to chew hard/crunchy food on that side of my mouth for those same few years--because if it hit that tooth, it would send a striking pain through my nerves. I discussed my issue with Dr. Kelly, he gave me lots of feedback, then we decided together to go ahead with the crown. He did several bite tests on my teeth to determine exactly where my pain was coming from. Sort of blindly, but with his great knowledge and experience, he suggested the crown to sort of "seal" that invisible hairline crack so when I bite down on something hard, it would hopefully end the pain. He discussed with me if that didn't work, there could already be nerve damage in place, and that would involve work that would essentially ruin the crown. That's kind of a scary thought, because crowns are expensive. I was willing to deal with not chewing hard/crunch food on that side of my mouth for life, but the food always catching in that one spot was driving me nuts. All I wanted was for that to end, and if the pain ended too, that was s bonus. My main concern was that the crown would be an exact replica of my current tooth that was always having food stuck. Dr. Kelly assured me that the crown would be made to be a good fit in my mouth. While dental work isn't exactly fun, his office made it as comfortable as possible. I am so happy with the results. I no longer have pain biting down, and I haven't had one piece of food stuck between my teeth since getting it. I had an adjustment period after getting the crown. I had become so apprehensive about chewing on that side of my mouth, that I had to re-train myself to just chew like I had all my natural, healthy teeth. This is the longest review ever, but I just want to tell my story, and give a shout out to Dr. Kelly, and his staff. His staff may not hear enough from customers how important they are to a successful business. The are are friendly, skilled, and fun to talk with.

I have been very happy going to Dr. Kelly. His staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Last year I had to get an implant and recently had to do a crown and both times it was all explained to me very well. I especially like the use of a digital camera to show me exactly what was going on with my tooth and the plan to fix it.
