Unfortunately for the doctor, the people who work at this office have the competency level of a lab rat. After having waited 2 months to see Dr. Oliveira, my first visit went real well. Dr. Oliveira took the time to get to know me and my medical history, it was a great first visit. He let me know I’d be needing to get my lab work and x rays done which I managed to get done as soon as I left his office. I called back the following day to let them know I’d done so and they told me to call back the next Tuesday to follow up w the lab results. FF to Tuesday I called that morning and they told me to call back at 2pm. I did, to no avail. So I called back the next day and they told me that I forgot to make a follow up appt when I left my initial visit and in order for me to talk to the Dr. about my results, his next available appt isn't until September 15. The runaround by these people is something different. For the sake of humanity, get some competent human beings to work in your office Dr. Oliveira.

Staff is extremely rude and refuse to check file about updating your medications (went 5 months without diabetic medication causing my ALC over 11.6%). Never get your referrals in a timely time frame and need an appt to get to a much needed specialist. My insurance listed him as my primary care physician and after confronting him personally on he lack to returning a call about getting my medication updated (it took him 5 months after a physical and confronting him about his staff and lack of medical care for a permamently disabled individual, then he dropped me after 8 years for your failure to do his job properly. Appointments, if scheduled, are ALWAYS made two months in advance, so good luck on trying to get an annual checkup or getting to a specialist or getting your medication right!AVOID THIS DOCTOR, YOUR LIFE IS ON THE LINE!BEING REPORTED TO THE MEDICAL BOARD. Additionally, requested my medical records in 4/23,my insurance company requested them in 6/23, and my current doctor requested them in 7/23, nothing yet and it is 9/19/23.

Staff is rude and they will always tell you to go to an emergency room first just to get a referral. My insurance listed him as my primary care physician and he doesn't even recognize me anymore. How dare you make it impossible to call or speak with anyone. You can read reviews from years ago people all saying the same thing. They do not EVER pick up the phone and the message system is often full. Other doctors can’t call them. Pharmacies can’t call them. This doctor is well aware of the issue but clearly does not care. He is entitled to treat his patients like garbage and does it by letting his staff run a horrible operation. Avoid this place at all cost if your in good health you won’t be after the stress of dealing with these clowns.

Dr. Oliveira is a breath of fresh air!! He sat and listened to my daughter and myself with all of our issues. I mean he really listened!!
My daughter is having some issues that may include depression, OCD, ADD, ADHD?
We don't know. But he talked to her so kindly and told her he would do everything in his power to get her help. He made sure she was comfortable and let her know over and over that it wasn't her fault. He talked to her like I wasn't in the room.
I am so very grateful.
He didn't just throw prescriptions at either one of us and send us away.
My list of current prescriptions is the work of my last doctor who did just that.
When my daughter and I left our appointments, we knew that we were in good hands.

Dr. Oliveira is, without question, one of the most wonderful medical professionals around. In my experience his kindness, caring, empathy, knowledge and bedside manner go completely unmatched. My mother went to him for decades before she unfortunately passed away and always had very positive things to say as well. Dr. Oliveira is one of the only doctors I've ever had the pleasure of seeing that genuinely cares for his patients. He's an absolute delight and it's no mystery why a doctor like him gets booked out.

NOT Really 5 stars! Reckless! Prescribed me medications I did not need and over prescribed pain medications. I Hold him partially responsible for many medical problems that I have today. Started seeing him in 2006 and stopped in 2014 due to a move THANK GOD otherwise I'd probably still be listening to his unsound advice. He is the best doctor I have ever gone to. I have my whole family with him (me, my husband and five kids). My husband wouldnt see a doctor till we met Dr. Oliviera. We have had him as our doctor for over 10 years. Sad he closed his Dana Point office, as that was the office we saw him at. Having a hard time finding a new doctor since none I have been to date fill his shoes!! Only issue I had was with his office staff. Didnt returns phone calls, didnt fulfill request in a timely matter. I have never been to his Lake Elsinore office so not sure about the staff there. But you will absolutely love Dr. Oliviera. He has a great personality, friendly, jokes around but truely cares about his patients.
