Dr. Tuttle and her entire team are amazing. She is concerned with your whole health as well as creating your best possible smile. My son had very misplaced teeth and has a very small mouth. In a very short time frame, she has been able to create a beautiful smile for him and he is no longer self conscious about showing his teeth. I highly recommend Canyon Lake Dental and Dr. Tuttle.

This is the first time I have ever given a one star review to a company. However, I feel people should know about this place.

Long story short: This place will lie to get more money from you. I have physical evidence of this. They will make you feel insecure and pressure you to get work done that you do NOT need.

Dr. Tuttle will try to gain your trust with her knowledge but she uses it to get more money from you. She will say you have a severe gum issue when you do NOT in order to charge you for a deep cleaning you do not need. She will say you need root canals when you need NONE. She will make medical assumptions and diagnosis about you immediately upon meeting you even though she does not have a medical degree in order to try to make you feel insecure and try to gain trust. Her team will pressure you into doing treatment "right away" so that you don't seek another opinion AND they will overcharge you. Her receptionist may also try to charge you for things that are covered by your insurance.

Thankfully, I felt something wasn't right after coming a couple of times and went to a much further away dentist that I trusted for a second opinion (all you have to do is request your X-rays and being your quoted plan breakdown). That dentist looked at the X-ray's that Canyon Lake Dental Office took and examined my teeth. They confirmed I did NOT need ANY root canals or crowns and my gums were healthy! They confirmed that I would only need deep cleaning of the gums at my age if I had severe hygiene issues which I do not. It was completely obviously to the hygienist I also saw that my gums were healthy. She said for someone to say otherwise was clearly unethical.

Please get a second opinion before agreeing to any work done here. They were going to charge me triple what the honest dentist was going to charge and they were only going to do a deep cleaning I didn't need and work on 3 teeth! If I didn't get a second opinion, they would have hurt us financially and do unnecessary aggressive work on my teeth, causing me unnecessary pain.

UPDATE: Thank you for your kind response to my review. I understand you have nice equipment which isn't the issue. I brought the same imaging you took to the other dentist (who also has top-notch equipment) and it was confirmed (looking at the same imaging too) that I did not need any root canals (I am close to needing one but not yet) or crowns and I do not have periodontal disease to the point that I need root scaling, etc. The dentist I saw has many more years of experience and gained no money for doing a second opinion so there would be no reason for him to lie. He also is known in the community for being trustworthy and has integrity. He was much further away but worth it for the second opinion. He did not pressure me to get work with him either, nor did he expect me to because I live so far away.

I 1st went to Dr.Tuttle in January for a emergency root canel, 3 days after major abdominal surgery,her office got me into to see her ASAP she was so kind and I was in and out in under 2 hours. I am a high risk diabetic with other serious medical issues and finding a dentist can be difficult sometimes looking for months after a move and she accepted me with no issues. SHE REALLY CARES FOR HER PATIENTS AND THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE she really wants to know how you are doing as a whole not just the teeth . Her office is modern and clean and well decorated. Her staff is very nice and polite. She has done more for my teeth in 4 visits than some some dentist haven't done in years . I am a retired miltary wife and her pricing is good for people on a budget or with insurance or not they work with you the patient . Again she is so kind and her smile is infectious and she makes your smile even more beautiful!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ I cannot say enough great things about Dr.Tuttle and her staff and office and how many folks can say that You can too after you visit her office 😉😇

Worst dentist you can go to. stay away. They completely took advantage of us! They robbed us blind. My husband and I went to this dentist for seven years and they never took out our wisdom teeth. We have gum disease and deep pockets so they needed to come out right away to slow the progression and help us fight the gum disease. They took out one of my wisdom teeth in the office no surgery no sedation. They never took out the other three. They were having us come in for extra cleanings not covered by our insurance and the deep pockets never got better. After seven years, I called to demand my wisdom teeth extraction and Dr. Tuttle blamed me and tried to guilt trip me for confronting her on the issue. She said I was acting out of character. Any responsible person would be frustrated after this. We went to another dentist and they scheduled oral surgery with sedation and took out all of them in less than an hour only our second visit them. Beware, do not buy the friendliness and fake kindness. They are snakes in the grass and very superficial. They are all about their looks, their image, and the money. They said they care about you but all they care about is the money. They do not actually help you. Dr. Tuttle recommends many other things like weight loss drugs that are not in her scope of practice and does not ever truly ever give you the dental treatment you need and or that you came there for.

My family and I have been under the care of Dr. Tuttle for over 10 years, and she and her staff have proven themselves to go "above and beyond" for her patients time after time.

Dr. Tuttle and her staff performed an outstanding frenectomy this past week for my 9-year-old, creating a relaxing environment and ensuring minimal pain throughout the procedure. The team explained every step with great detail, making us feel comfortable and well-informed, which significantly eased our anxiety; especially my little one. Their professionalism and gentle approach resulted in an almost pain-free experience for my child, which we genuinely appreciate. From start to finish, Dr. Tuttle and her staff displayed exceptional care and expertise, turning a potentially stressful situation into a smooth and positive experience.

Growing up with traumatic experiences with dental work, I am grateful that I can provide an optimistic experience for my children and foster a healthy relationship between dental hygiene and dental work. Her knowledge, continued education in her field, and beliefs in innovation and technology are evident.

I highly recommend Dr. Tuttle and her fantastic staff for their exceptional work, outstanding communication, and the comforting atmosphere they provided during my child's frenectomy and every visit for us.

Avoid this place at all costs. This dentist is concerned about money and offering services people don't need. I paid for services because Dr. Tuttle said I must remove most of my teeth. I did not have any pain or discomfort. The office charged me for the cleaning $800 and did not tell me to wait a couple of months to have my insurance paid for it. I gave them a star to get it posted, but zero stars would be the correct one.

Dr. Tuttle is one of the nicest people and an awesome dentist. She is very knowledgeable and detail oriented. I had some gum recession and she did a great job of making my gum/teeth recession look excellent as well as getting teeth really clean. Even better than what was hoping and she is always very detail-oriented and looking out for what is best for her patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tuttle for any type of dental work.

It was really crazy; Dr. Tuttle totally misdiagnosed me. She said that I had six cavities (I've never had a cavity in my life), she wanted to cut the skin that holds my tongue and the skin that holds my lips, she said that I could only get a deep cleaning. I went to another dentist and got a second opinion. Sure enough, I didn't need that. No cavities and just needed regular cleaning.
