Lakewood Cerritos Dental is a true one stop shop that gets it done you don’t have to go to all different doctors. They have the kids downstairs and adults upstairs. Their staff is so friendly they treat you like family they’ll work with you with your schedule especially because I have kids they don’t take it straight to the point then I’ll sugarcoat it and the work is awesome. I’ll take my squad over there and that’s 8 on my team. DR. A and Dr. H rock and the and the treatment coordinator when you getting ready they walk through it. That office is run correctly the Office Manager has a great team to manage. I recommend if u need anything type of work go to Lakewood Cerritos Dental

I really love the new children's dentist but unfortunately, I do not know who schedules their appointment but they need to provide more time in between. They are ALWAYS running behind. My child's appointment was at 4 and he was not called bak until 4:45, That is ridiculous amount of time. It would be okay every once in awhile but every time? Unacceptable. I hate to leave when I've been going here since I was a child and now I bring my children here but I think it may be time. 45 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for any appointment and the fact that it happens consistently is A PROBLEM.

I had an appointment in Sep and was told that they needed an authorization from my insurance company for my cleaning as of today I’m still waiting on a call back for that appointment. I decided to take it upon myself to call the insurance company to see what was going on with the authorization not only was the authorization never sent over, but none is needed for Cleaning through my insurance, I took the time to call the dental office back to find out what was going on appointment to have to wait till March 5 to get an appointment for an appointment for this cleaning. I have been a patient of this dental office for many many many years and this was so dissatisfying as a patient who not only I my husband all six of my children, no accommodations for their era only to continue to wait another three months for a cleaning. I don’t know who is in charge of setting the appointments or in charge of handling of insurance coverage that they make the mistake or they overcharging what other mistakes are they making?

Despite of having 5 orthodontists here already, I still feel valued and always being taken care of by this office. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I don't remember how many times I've had emergency appointments and with all of those times the office was always flexible in taking me in.

The office is very clean and well-maintained. The equipment and chairs were upgraded not too long ago too.

If you are in a budget, they have payment plans as well.

I definitely recommend this place for getting your braces.

I use to love it hear (been coming over 15 years) but unfortunately service has gotten worse and worse.

I make my appointments for cleaning months in advance, then they get canceled the day of, they offer to reschedule 2-3 months later.

They made my daughter 3 different appointments for one filing. Made her see the general dentist first for a check up, then the pediatric dentist for a treatment plan, then the pediatric dentist to fill the cavity we found out about during the appointment with the general dentist.

And don't get me started on the hour wait to see the pediatric dentist

DO NOT COME HERE. THEY ARE STRECTHED WAY TO THIN.
We are switching after this.

During this quarantine, I had a dental emergency because my tooth was throbbing and it seems infected. I was able to book an appointment the very next day and had a dental implant procedure done. Dr. A was gentle on my tooth and even took the time to give me a call in the evening to check in on me. Wonderful service and they exceed expectations to insure that you have a great experience before during and after. I highly recommend them!!!

TL;DR Malpractice, faulty product, poor customer service, Do Not Visit

My partner and I got a soft mouthguard here that somehow pushed her front incisors apart.

She took the mouthguard out for a month, and her teeth moved back together.

She wore it again, and her front teeth moved apart again.

This was deeply distressing to her and had a chance of impacting her job, so we went back and asked for a refund.

After giving us a huge run around, they claimed it was due to "tongue thrusting" and not their product. Which is clearly untrue.

Furthermore, they have, multiple times, attempted to do procedures that were uneeded, even ones severe as hollowing her teeth.
They've also skimped on procedures that WERE needed, barely doing the minimum and requiring multiple visits.
Their cleanings are also insufficent in the extreme. We certainly have a case for malpractice, but the legal process is such a pain.

I cannot advise strongly enough that you do not come here if you value your teeth, both for hygenic, monetary, and quality reasons.

If they treat you like this, you should notify the Dental Board of California.
