I came here in 2020 for a dental cleaning. After they took some X-rays, they told me I had some "cavities" on the side of my molars, which are notoriously hard to get. They advised me to get fillings right away, and without a second opinion and against my better judgment, I did. It was done, and life went on.

Fast forward a year later, I was getting my braces and called again to schedule another cleaning. I went in on the date of the appointment for some more X-rays, and just like before, they found not one, but TWO cavities. Again on the side of my molars, and horizontally. Again they advised me to get them fixed "to prevent [them] from getting worse", but this time I consulted my trusted childhood dentist for a second opinion.

They found nothing. Not even a single cavity.

When I came here for the X-ray records taken PRIOR to the first filling, they "couldn't find them". The pictures that showed the previous state of my teeth SUPPOSEDLY with cavities mysteriously disappeared.

Needless to say, I didn't follow through with their advice the second time. And to this day, I'm still cavity-free.

Be very aware of this dentist. They are not honest people. If you can go somewhere else, please do.

Great work done and way more affordable than the norm in San Diego. The staff is all super sweet and it makes it so it isn't terrible to go to the dentist. My mouth has essentially been falling out all year, so I've seen them more than I would like, but they make each visit as good as it can be. Glad to have Tim as my dentist!

Beware!

Go somewhere else! Don’t take a chance on this dentist. Fillings he put in front teeth fell out in less than 2 years! They looked fine before he Change them out. He said they needed to be changed but they looked fine. You couldn’t even see them before he did them.

I'm sorry to have to write this review but I am very concerned about the work this dentist did.

If you have been there before you will know that all of the staff is very nice. I liked all of them but the work he did for me was actually scary.

I saw dr. "E" for more than a year.

I told him that the last dentist I saw before him extracted a back tooth and the tooth next to it had some decay. He looked at it and he said no it was fine. Two years later I needed a root canal on that tooth.

He also told me that I needed to replace two of the fillings on my front teeth. Those fillings were only about 8 years old and I got compliments on them by other dentists, like, “wow, that’s really good! I can hardly see them”, They seemed fine to me. He replaced them and now BOTH of these fillings have FALLEN OUT! One in less than a year and one in 18 months. And they are right in my front teeth! I had to get crowns on those teeth, And I do not think anything was wrong with those feelings. They were smooth and beautiful.

There’s even more. There was another tooth that I told him was getting food stuck in it and I thought there was a cavity there. He said it was OK. About a year later I went back to him and he said that that cavity was so big in that tooth that I would probably need a root canal! I told him Id better not need a root canal because I told him about that cavity previously. More than once, actually. I didn't get a root canal but I got a big filling there.

I think he redid my front fillings and made them fall out because he wanted me to do porcelain veneers which I told him I wanted to do. What else could it be? My front teeth were fine. Then he redid them and 1.5 years later I had two holes in my front teeth!

My best friend and her daughter tols me this was a good place. I took my daughter there and the dentists and his assistants were so nice. And helped my daughter calm down if something scared her. Its a great place. Definetly happy with this dentist.

Best dentist i have visited yet since i moved to San Diego! It is less expensive than other places I have been and the staff made my experience very comfortable!
