TL;DR: Appointments are 3-4 hours delayed without communication in advance.

This place is terrible. My husband goes here for a long-term service, and now he's stuck with allocating a full day worth of time for any of his appointments. The schedulers try to squeeze as many appointments as possible without considering if the dentists/hygienists have enough time to work on that many. Multiple appointments are delayed 3-4 hours and had to get rescheduled. They always have excuses, like "Oh there are constructions going on causing some of the rooms to close and we can't work on you without a room." I understand things happen, but it's on them to communicate and preemptively reschedule people around that instead of letting us wait around for hours. I also understand that the business owner of this clinic wants to make profits, but overbooking and poor communication are hardly the way. Do not get tangled with this business. They're a waste of time and money.

Great experience. Everybody communicated together. They were busy but executed well. I was taken great care of and was able to get everything taken care of that I came in for and then some. Fantastic establishment. Very pleasant experience. Everyone was professional they took their job seriously but not over the top. A perfect balance of doing their job and being friendly. Overall 10/10

Unfortunately this has been the worst dental experience I’ve had and I’ve yet to even sit in the chair. I’ve had to rechedule my appointment 3 times now the first was my insurance the second was because I had a babysitter for my baby for only 2.5 hours and there was only 1 Dr on staff after overhearing many patients complain they were waiting 2+ hours and hadn’t been seen I rescheduled after being told my insurance was inactive by the front desk but it wasn’t. She did not hear me say my date of birth until the 3rd or 4th time repeating myself it was obvious she wasn’t even seeing me as a patient probably just a number. The third time I called to ask if there was a grace period due to my truck and I was 1 main-street away I would’ve been 8 minutes late which is my fault but if I call and I’m told I have a grace period of 10 minutes yet the staff member I spoke to pushed to reschedule me made no sense to me she didn’t make it an option for me to be late she just rescheduled me yet again and was rude about the entire situation just like the last staff interaction at any medical establishment I’ve ever been too but please do better. I’ve never felt the need to be rude and do a review on a few not so nice interactions but the fact that the grace period wasn’t honored for a very human reason but I have to be okay with poor treatment from staff that on my first time in the office couldn’t even give me a head nod or acknowledgment after my attempts to find out which sign in sheet I should use. I was told to be 10 minutes early for “paperwork” I was never even given in the time I did wait anyway. Rant over.

No consideration at all for the children that attend this dentistry,, no eating or drinking from the night before and will have you waiting hours to be seen!!! My kid is thirsty and we have waited over 1.5 hours and not seen or looked at.. of you go complain they act used to it and blow you off like a Karen!!! Only care is to get your insurance money!! Staff over books to collect money from your insurance and has Zero concern for a kid who hasn't had a drink of water in over 14 hours,, I will be contacting the BBB and consumer affairs

Terrible service, my appointment was at 10:00 and it was 12:00pm and I will still waiting to be call. I asked the receptionist after waited 50 min if they will be able to see me or if it was a problem, she just said I don’t know what it’s happening, and just to wait another 5 min. I waited 40 and asked again to a different person, this time I was informed that the doctor was not there and someone else was covering, but their policy was not to tell patients so they can give the opportunity to another dentist. Don’t you think the patient should decide if they want to be seen by someone different or what about informing the patient if the dentist is behind appointments. Completely disrespectful with others time and careless about patients will of choose.

I haven't taken the best care of my teeth. Dentists can always tell, but I didn't feel judged. That was comforting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I got a deep cleaning which can be stressful but Francisco the RDH and Trinity the DA were wonderful. They worked well together. Francisco was gentle but thorough and I had no pain. That is invaluable! My rating is 4 stars because they don't have specialists. If you need a specialist They give you a list and you're on you own to find one. If you don't need a specialist this place is a good place to go. I'm getting my fillings done with them.

Here is a rundown of my experience with this dentist office:
-I come in about 2 months ago, I have constant jaw pain for a reason unknown.
-They take some x-rays, as well as poke and look around inside my mouth. They tell me I need a root canal but I can't get one in their office.
-They give me a referral to another doctor, by this time it's taken a month.
-That doctor does THE SAME AMOUNT of x-rays and poking around in my mouth, and tells me I need to get a tooth removed.
-I go back to Family Dental Practice of Lancaster. They tell me they are submitting an emergency referral.
-I call my insurance, my insurance tells me "they submitted a referral, but no emergency".
-The referral FINALLY goes through for my surgery on the 11th, and on the 13th that Oralsurgeon no longer works here.
-A new Oralsurgeon was credentialed recently and at this point I am going to be stuck waiting at least another 2 weeks before I hear anything else about my surgery.
The only reason you get 2 stars, is because in the beginning you made it SEEM like you cared about the fact that I was in pain. But here I am 2 months later with a tooth that shouldn't be in my head still.

I booked an appointment online here and then called to confirm. Upon calling (5 minutes) after booking the appointment, they told me the office was booked up at that time and moved my appointment up an hour. The ladies behind the front desk were polite, nice and friendly. Upon arrival, the front desk let me know the doctors were running about an hour behind. After about 1.5 hours, they finally took me back for x-rays. Then when asked for and estimated time, I was told they are short staff and didn’t expect people to call out: but that’s not the patients fault or issue yet we are the ones who are impacted/affected the most 2.5 hours later, I’m still waiting to be seen or talked to by anyone.
