Hi, I recently went in very nervous about getting my wisdom tooth out. Dr. Miner talked me through every detail and made me feel very comfortable before I even went. He’s a great guy and I was back up and ready to do stuff the next day! Everything was incredible and if I ever need anything else done I know where to go.

Dr. Robert Miner is the best Oral surgeon and I'm so glad that my husband and I had the privilege of getting treated by him for all our dental surgery needs (I had quite a few things done including wisdom teeth removal and two dental implants due to previously botched up root canal treatments).
Having grown up in India, wisdom teeth removal was not a routine procedure done, so my husband and I, both in our 30s, had infected wisdom teeth that needed extraction...Mine was especially complicated. But Dr. Miner Assuaged all our fears and patiently answered all questions we had and the extractions went smoothly. Dr. Miner always called us after being discharged to check in on us a few hours after the surgery, to make sure we were doing well, which I really appreciated. And there are follow up visits of course and everything went smoothly.

I am posting this review 2 years after my implants as I wanted to see how well it holds up . I have had no problems and am very happy with the results. Thank you Dr. Miner!

My experience with Dr. Miner was excellent! I had to get all four wisdom teeth removed as an adult and was very nervous, but Dr. Miner made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of the information and all of the options I had, answering all of my questions. I ended up getting bone grafting done on my upper teeth in addition to wisdom teeth extraction, and the procedure went very smoothly. He called me the evening of my surgery to check up and make sure everything was ok. His staff is also excellent and very welcoming and supportive, getting back to me right away with any questions I had. I highly recommend Dr. Miner and am so thankful my wisdom teeth removal process went so smoothly!

Dr. Miner is wonderful. My daughter who has special needs and clenched her teeth over the years to where they all had to be extracted. Dr. Miner did the surgery as well as other dental procedures on my daughter. She was very happy with Dr. Miner. Experience with the doctor is great. I heard a lot of positive comments from my wife about my daughter's surgery.

However, the office lady who did insurance claim process sucks! They will take the money before doing insurnace. This is fine if they handle the insurance good. I paid all my monye upfront with my credit card. However, after one month I don't receive any money back from insurance to pay my credit card bill. Then I called the Dr. Miner's office and they told me my insurance claim was denied. The office didn't call me for the insurance claim denial and they refused to follow up. I called the insurance company and they said Dr. Miner's office filed with some and the claim didn't go to my insurance account. I hated to talk to Dr. Miner's office anymore and it takes me another 1-2 weeks to handle the insurance company myself while I will need to bear the high credit card interest before I get the insurance resolved. This is sucks!

The gratitude I have for Dr. Robert Miner and his team at Dove Canyon Oral Surgery is immense. I needed to have a single tooth implant procedure, and I came here for a second opinion. With his skilled expertise, integrity and honesty, he actually saved me from being practically conned and from having unnecessary invasive surgical procedures by another doctor. The rest is history.

I’m at 2 day post-op and I feel great. Out of the two times I’ve been completely under for any procedures in my lifetime, this was by far the best experience. I didn’t feel nauseous or dizzy at all (not for a second) after I woke up from surgery 🙂. I also thought “have we started surgery?”, since I was so relaxed and all went smoothly. Dr. Miner and his team followed up with me post surgery, making sure all is good. They’re very attentive.
