Great morning at Bixby Dental. Debbie is always an all-star dental assistant so it’s is great to have her continued care after the business changed hands. Ann has been cleaning my teeth for 20 years, and I look forward to seeing her every visit. I’m just getting to know Dr. McWilliams but he is so friendly and made sure I was comfortable with the work he was doing. He explained everything to me and made the priorities in my mouth clear and understandable. He is obviously well-trained and loves his profession.

I used to go to Dr Bixby many years ago and had the most amazing experience. She took such good care of me I could go on and on. After moving to NYC I never found a dentist who’s skills came close to hers and I tried out a handful.
I just moved back to Santa Cruz and made an appointment with her right away and sure enough… she was just as phenomenal as ever!

Not just Dr Bixby but her whole staff is friendly and extremely professional offering the best dentistry I’ve ever had… by a long shot!

I’m super picky with everything I do, I pay attention to the details of everyone I work with and Dr Lindy Bixby is the best. I highly recommend her if you’re in need of top of the line dental care

Everyone in this office is super friendly and helpful! I’m sad Dr. Bixby is no longer here, but Dr. McWilliams is great. All the staff makes sure you are comfortable, are heard, and understand what is happening and why. I’ve dealt with a lot of trauma when it comes to my mouth and dentist, but I feel comfortable here 🙂

Dr. Bixby is a woman of high competence, deep integrity and genuine kindness. She has been my dentist for well over a decade. She offers clear explanations and is often able to provide treatment choices. She treats me as a valued individual and considers my overall life situations in her treatment plans. I have anxiety about every dental visit, but Dr. Bixby, her staff and even the office atmosphere contribute to a calming experience. Top-notched professionals, from front-desk person, hygienist, X-ray specialist, dentist assistant, to the dentist. I struggle with immense anxiety with my dentist visits all my life, but I don't anymore now that I've found an excellent dentist and dental practice. Highly experienced and very kind professionals. Very pleasant office environment and state-of-the-art equipment. The office is located in a convenient location with plenty of parking. Peete's, Nob Hill, Gayle's, and the USPS are all nearby. Billing is streamlined and appointment reminders are done via text messages. I feel very safe with everyone being thoughtful about face masks and hand washing at appropriate times. I rewarded myself with a delicious bear claw from Gayle's after my appointment today.

Dr Bixby was recommended to me by another well respected dentist (who sees Dr Bixby herself). As promised, Dr Bixby has high standards for herself and other specialists that she refers to. Her standards stayed just as high with my 95yr old dad who had a lot of complicated work done - his dental work was comfortable and cosmetically perfect. My 3 adult children also see Dr Bixby. I trust her completely. Also, her office responded to the pandemic quickly with additional filters, ventilation, and precautions. She was even highlighted in the newspaper for that reason.

Ann was my dental hygienist today. I feel like she did a very good job. She also explained everything in detail. We also discussed a plan of action to keep my teeth healthy and bright. I’m glad I chose this office with Dr Lindy Bixby and Ann to return to for caring for my teeth after too many years without insurance.

PS DR BIXBY took extra time with me today to help me understand the tooth I had a root canal. It is still tender and it worried me. She gave me a course of action to heal my gums and my tooth. I know it is up to me to follow through. Thank you
