I recently received an implant tooth from Dr. Yu at Sylvania Dental. I'm extremely pleased with the result. It looks and feels like one of my own teeth. Even better. Dr. Yu is awesome. Very friendly and professional as a dentist and oral surgeon. Had my first tooth extraction and bone graft as an adult because of receding gums on a molar. It was not painful at all, just felt pressure on the area. I would recommend Dr. Yu for anything you need for dental hygiene and procedures. Excellent!!

If you have anxiety about going to the dentist like I do then this office is perfect for you. The staff is so friendly and caring. There’s no judgment and they actually take the time to explain things unlike my previous experiences. I even called back with questions regarding insurance, this is the first time I’ve had to deal with dental insurance and Veronica was so helpful and patient with me. Staff truly does care for their patients. 10/10 recommend, your won’t regret it.

I got a root canal here and it was the worst experience I've ever had. My instinct was right to leave and go some were else since they tried convincing me to stay. They let the dental assistant place the root canal tooth and it came out very very loose, it was not installed well. I went back to let them know about it and they said all teeth are a little loose, yes when you push force on them. I should not be able to hear or feel how loose the root canal tooth is. I have gotten a root canal before coming here and they broke many rules on many levels. I would stay away from this place. I almost swallowed the crown tooth when the assistant was placing it and dropped it inside my mouth. I could describe much more of what bad thing happened here, but i got to go.

So far, so good!! It was my first visit today and I have to say, I felt welcomed and very comfortable. I was fit into a dental cleaning by Janet and, this may sound weird, it was really relaxing!! Really!
I am new to the area so I am looking for my new dental home and I think I may have found it!

Staff is very kind and make me feel very welcome, The work that needs to be done on my teeth was explained to me very well. Also went in for deep teeth cleaning and everything went very well dentist was very gentle almost fell asleep. Definitely will be recommending Sylvania dental to my family and friends
