I love this dental office. It is close to my home and work which is convenient. The lobby is nice a comfortable. The admin staff up front are extremely nice helpful, and knowledgeable. I can not remember the assistance names but they were all very nice, worked well with the Dr. and was very kind. The hiegenist was great. She was kind and did an excellent job. The guys from the lab were very nice and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job matching up my cap with my other teeth. It was right in front and was great. Dr. Bowman is an excellent dentist. My biggest fear was the injection. I didn't even feel it. He explained everything that he did and was excellent at his job. I also want to say it is not over priced and the front girls print a paper with prices, insurance, and tx. plan. So u know what ur paying before it's done. Would recommend to everyone.

Arrogant doctor that tried to talk me into a procedure that I did not want and flat out refused to even consider what I was asking him to do. So I went someplace else.
Then when I asked for my x-rays was completely ignored for a month, which is funny because up until I told them that I would not be back and why they were inundating me with phone calls and e-mails to schedule the appointment for the very expensive procedure I did not want.

Mint is all about the money not the patients.

I was scared after my experience at BTY dental. At BTY dental, they argued with me over the mold stuff, for dentures, running down my throat. I told the person at Mint about this, and they assured me that it wouldn't happen there.

Each person has a room at Mint unlike others. Most dentist offices are just curtains. The other awesome the thing is they have a lab in the office. No waiting for them to be sent off and come back several times.

I was pleased all the way around with how professional the staff was. Very friendly and outgoing staff. Willing to answer all your answers. Easy to call and make appointments.

A Frustrating and Painful Experience with Mint Dental

My experience with Mint Dental has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initially went in for a routine cleaning, and while I had no issues, they informed me that my root canals needed treatment. Instead of completing the procedure, they left me with a hollow, sensitive tooth and sent me to an endodontist.

What followed was devastating: my front tooth cracked. When I returned to Mint Dental, I was told that this was normal and that all teeth wiggle a bit. But the endodontist explained that my tooth cracked because Mint Dental had removed the crucial structural support.

I reached out to Mint Dental for answers. Their response was that my tooth was already cracked before their procedure. If that was the case, why did they proceed with treatment on a compromised tooth? This response has left me feeling utterly helpless and confused.

In my search for justice, I contacted a medical malpractice lawyer, only to find out they have a conflict of interest with Mint Dental. The Alaska Bar Association advised me to find a private attorney who specializes in dental malpractice, but this has been incredibly challenging. I've been in constant pain, unable to eat properly, and feeling trapped in a situation with no easy solutions.

Desperate for relief, I've considered options abroad. I've heard about dental care in Mexico, but I'm anxious about finding a trustworthy provider. Meanwhile, I also looked into the Oregon Dental School, where many of Mint Dental's practitioners are alumni, and the reviews were unsettling.

Without a credit history in the U.S., affording an implant is not possible at the moment, which only adds to my stress and frustration.

Overall, my experience with Mint Dental has been heartbreaking. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for patient care have left me in a dire situation. They seem more focused on insurance claims than on genuinely helping their patients. I urge anyone considering Mint Dental to think carefully and explore other options.

Also dentist paying layers big bucks to stay in practice, so you regular client is not protected at all. Stay out of this Dental Offices in Alaska - they are the most expensive in the world, no competition - so treatment is the nightmare and on top of that - they are protected - you are not!

Absolutely love this Dental Facility! Have the worst fear of Dentist and I've always had issues with my teeth but the staff there make you feel so comfortable and at ease! They don't judge you and ultimately their goal is to help you!
This is forever my dentist!

Also Dr.Mcneil is THE BEST. Gets the job done so well. He did my wisdom teeth and wow. So fast, and I barely even swelled. The main lady with him I can't remember her name is always amazing every time I go in. Definitely recommend this place to everyone I talk to.

Without going into too much detail, I had a horrible experience at my previous dentist which resulted in terrible anxiety regarding anything dental. Mint was recommended to me from a coworker whom also has had a lot of dental work done, and this place has been a life saver for my dental (and mental) health. I had spent over a year not being able to chew without discomfort from my previous dental work. I am super happy to say that I am no longer feeling discomfort (after having to redo most of the old dental work) and my anxiety at the dentist has lessened since switching to mint. I’ve seen 2 of their Drs and both have been wonderful. They have also gotten me in so many times for same day appts when I needed a root canal and/or bite adjustments. Pick them, they are amazing.
