I have been a long time patient of Dr. Verny and I can honestly say that he is the best dentist I have ever had. He's gentle, kind, caring, and he listens to his patients. I will continue to see him for my dental needs. The office staff is also very nice and thoughtful. They try to accommodate you as needed.

I had high hopes for this dental office as I’ve previously left a positive review based off of my initial visit. I have been in pain for just over 9 months. My initial visit to this office happened in April 2024 for pain. The office submitted to my insurance for the extraction of my wisdoms plus 2 teeth. I reached out for months for an update and the office didn’t have one. (My insurance was backed up so I understood it wasn’t the offices fault). My insurance approved the extractions in July. The office didn’t reach out with my approval until September. So I unnecessarily went extra months in pain. Upon finally being approved through my insurance the office refused to do the extractions without additional out of pocket services costing the upward of $1300. Meaning instead of waiting in pain with little communication I could’ve just paid $1300 elsewhere within those 9 months to get the teeth pulled that were bothering me in the first place. I was heartbroken by this experience since they initially made a good first impression. I’m currently still in pain with all the teeth still not being pulled 9 months later.

Have nothing but good things to say about this office. The Drs and staff are very nice and efficient. They have me in and out very quickly and even with deep cleanings and root canals I don’t experience too much discomfort afterwards.

The staff is accommodating and even if I only see them a couple times a year I feel like they remember me. I feel very comfortable coming here and even have my older mom come here as I know the staff will be kind to her and will give her the best care. Thank you to the entire office who makes going to the dentist a little less scary 🙂

I took my father to Hawthorne dental and braces in Sept of 2024 for teeth extraction. Dr Verny the regular dentist refused to do the extraction but the office manager said that they have an independent dentist that is willing to extract the teeth. So we had to pay out of pocket over 550 dollars however after the procedure I contacted my fathers dental plan and they said that the dentist is obligated to do the extraction and we have the right to file grievances which I did and subsequently Hawthorne dental and braces refused to reimburse us starting that at the time of the teeth removal we signed a contract which states that we agree to have the contractor dentist remove the teeth. We agreed to pay first of all because they said that Dr Timothy Verny does not want to do extraction and second my father teeth were hurting him and had to be removed. So please if you are in this situation do the following
1. Talk to Dr Verny face to face as to why he refuses to do his obligations
2. subsequently contact your insurance and let them know of this matter asap
3. Do not sign any paperwork before talking to Dr Verny

A few years ago they did a crown on my second molar. After 8 months I started to have some uncomfortable pain, I went back and the dentist said that was due to a gum problem and I should see a periodontist. something told me that he was avoiding the problem and I went for second opinion with distinct dental office of course the professional dentist detected a leak and had my crown replaced and to the present time no pain and issues.
Hawthorne Dental and Braces must learn that all humans and people make mistakes and nothing wrong on taking responsibility.

Have just started my treatment here with my crown and fillings and the staff have been very welcoming and efficient in explaining the whole process or other options available for me and have gotten my work done with little to no pain👍.😃
