I visited this office for myself and my family because it was the only one that accepted my insurance. Unfortunately, their main focus seems to be charging extra and making more money, rather than addressing what’s truly necessary for patients. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I asked multiple times for a detailed bill but never received one. It’s clear there’s no accountability or oversight in how this office operates. Avoid this place and find a better office that genuinely cares about your health, not just their profits.

Im very picky when it comes to choosing a great dentist and I am glad I came to this location. The staff are very pleasant, the office is very clean and so are the rooms. My son and I are well taken care of, you wont be disappointed. ❤️🙌🏽

Here's a update on my review. It's January 2025 now and I finally got my crown in last week. And it took four months waiting to get my crown .And in the process of waiting this office finally did their job and got the approval letter from my insurance. And on top they maid me pay out of pocket back in August for the same crown what the insurance paid for. So I'm going to see if this office will reimbursed me of $1,300.00 what I had to pay since my insurances paid for.

I went to this dental office because my crown fell out back in August of this year. They put it back on. They said I needed a root canal a new crown. So Claudia the office manager told me the new crown is $1,300.00. And I paid for the crown in August. And when i went back for a root canal on Nov.11 thinking my insurance will be taking of root canal Claudia told me it got denied. And she told me if I leave she going to bill me $250.00. And so I paid $450.00 for a root canal. And Claudia told me I did not pay for my crown and now she wants another $500.00 for my crown what I paid her for back in August of this year. And don't believe anything what this office manager says. And if I could go back in time I would call my insurance and tell them I want a new dentist.

She gives you all the options available to meet your dental needs so you can make the decision that's best for you. (Unlike other dentists, she does not force you to buy dental services you do not need).

She is an amazing dentist and very understanding to people like me that had traumatic dental experiences with a previous dentist and who was afraid to get dental work.

I'm so glad I came to this friendly and caring office.

This has been the worst experience my daughter and I have ever had with a dental office. In April, we visited this office for the first time, and the dentist recommended removing four wisdom teeth. He said we needed to wait for insurance approval and told us that if my daughter experienced pain, we could make an emergency appointment to have the teeth removed. However, three months later, when my daughter’s teeth started to hurt, I contacted the office and was told that insurance had denied the claim, and they instructed me to contact the insurance company myself.

When I called the insurance company, they informed me that the dental office had never submitted any referral. Over the next few weeks, I contacted the office multiple times, and each time they asked me to wait for a callback that never came. My daughter’s pain worsened, and two of her teeth became inflamed, but the office continued to delay, citing insurance issues.

When we finally secured a second appointment, the office charged me $268, but no teeth were removed. Instead, I was told again that the insurance was still being processed. Later, the office informed me that to remove the two inflamed teeth, it would cost $2000, but they did not expedite the treatment despite the severity of my daughter’s condition.

My daughter was in so much pain that she couldn’t eat, sleep, or focus on her studies. I contacted the insurance company again and learned that the dental office had still not properly submitted the claim for tooth extraction. I was eventually referred to another dental office by the insurance company, which immediately scheduled an emergency extraction for my daughter, and the cost was 40% less than what the original office quoted.

This dental office has shown a complete lack of professionalism, with poor communication, constant delays, and an unwillingness to take responsibility. They repeatedly used the insurance company as an excuse to postpone necessary treatment, despite my daughter’s urgent need for care. I am extremely disappointed with their service and would advise other patients to be cautious when considering this office.

Been coming here for 3+ years even back when it was Bay Dental. My most recent experience with Smiles West Lawndale has been delightful and enjoyable. From before arriving Jessica and Claudia were helpful in guiding me in changing my assigned dental office after my new insurance had automatically assigned me a different office. They coordinated everything so I could be seen at my scheduled appointment time. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left every person I encountered was polite and helpful.

Claudia as office manager seems to be running things pretty smoothly. Overall, I felt taken care of appropriately. I think this has been the smoothest visit I’ve had in my years coming here. Thank you and keep up the awesome work.

The front desk ladies very kind I feel very welcome . The Doctor made feel very calm and sure that everything is going to be fine. She was very professional and caring. And the X-ray technician a very nice person. careful and caring. During ma y years I being very nerves and worried with any kind of treatments or procedures. I hope everything is going to be fine at this time of my life. I am very thankful.
