I would like to provide a little background facts to this review. This was my second time in braces. I am over 50 and was having grinding on my front teeth from the shifting. My goal was to stop this and get the necessary cosmetic/ structural repairs to preserve my smile and prevent further damage. I explained this to my dentist that encouraged orthodontics prior to any other changes.
Dr Linaker has a great staff, they always were accommodating with my work schedule. He came highly recommended from friends and his reviews are the best.
I went in to his office and felt at ease.
We discussed end goals. Invisalign vs traditional braces and even discussed friends that were doing Smile Direct. I trusted his expertise and went with Invisalign, based on his recommendation. He said the advantages were shorter times and improved results. Great! I got them placed on Oct 2021, taken off May 2023. Saw my dentist the whole time during treatment. After removal, had molds made to decide the best treatment. It took over a month for this to happen. My dentist called me in and essentially said he can’t do the treatment until my front teeth were not touching. He explained that where the wear is the worst I would break anything he did unless my bottom teeth were intruded more and this result can’t happen with Invisalign. He called and spoke with Dr Linaker and then I went back to the office to discuss retreatment. He has a different cold demeanor and stated it would take 2 more years. I was fine with that but the retreat fee was over 5k! ?
I had paid over 5k for the Invisalign. No discount, no insurance.
He knew the goal and failed to deliver. The day he removed my Invisalign, we again discussed my dentist and the goals of the treatment. He told me how great it will look. Whelp I guess we won’t get to see that for a while.
I would not recommend him for an older patient. I just had my third set of braces placed with a different orthodontist.

I have known Dr. Linaker and most of his staff for almost 20 years. (All of my adult children were patients of his). Now it's my turn. Dr. Linaker is truly a class act! He is friendly, caring, highly knowledgeable, and experienced. He sets high expectations on himself and his staff to help their patients get their perfect smile. These expectations are met, with questions answered, treatments explained, and a flexible schedule that allows office staff to work with you. Lisa, Mimi, and Diane are three of the nicest ortho assistants you could ever hope to meet. Linaker orthodontics comes highly recommended. You just can't go wrong.

It's a pleasure to write a review for Dr. Linaker and his wonderful staff. Our two children both completed treatment within the past couple of years, with my son having his braces removed just last week. We all are extremely happy with the results, as both have beautiful smiles with well-aligned teeth. Outcomes are certainly important, but so are confidence in and comfort with the doctor and staff. And in each of those regards we could not be happier. You could not ask for a more caring and professional operation. Highly recommended.

So happy to have had my kids as patients of Dr. Linaker. They are a very caring office and really take the time to walk you thru all the steps, all the next steps and really listen to your questions. And they will work with your schedule as best as they possible can. Plus, the end results were above my expectations. Highly recommend!
