The pharmacy is busy but staff are hard working and pleasant to speak with. Daniel R. was very professional and helped answer all my questions. Highly recommended!

I have always struggled to establish relationships w providers that made me feel comfortable and cared for but not anymore! Community Health Centers like
el Rio are the future of medicine! Every provider I’ve worked with at El Rio is inclusive and genuinely caring. All the El Rio offices share the same set of records so check in is always easy. Referrals are often internal so they are fast, and when my PCP referred me for a Pap smear, the el rio OBGYN office called ME to schedule three days later! I didn’t even have to call them! I love el rio and would recommend it to everyone! The lab and pharmacy are on site and walk-in. So awesome!

One of the ladies gave me a bad shot and was careless/reckless. The doctor that did my physical exam was very good, I learned a lot from him, he's very professional and I would go back to him. BUT NOT TO THE LADY THAT SHOT ME.

They cancel your appointment an hour before hand instead of giving you a heads up. Very unprofessional for a doctors office. Your a doctors office, what do you mean the provider called out?

I hate that el rio is one of the only health cares here in Tucson. I’m Always waiting a while to book an appointment, but today I waited over an hour 1/2 JUST for someone to answer the phone. Ridiculous!! especially when you’ve been in serious pain all weekend (started Friday) & had to wait until Tuesday due to memorial. Currently still on the phone waiting for someone to pick up.

I have been with them for four years. I became homeless at the beginning of the month and my case manager without asking me changed my whole team she had been with me for 4 years zero warning I get a call from her manager saying I won't be on her case load. My psychiatrist will also be changing. Yet the one changed I've begged to make my therapist who honestly makes me feel worse every day then when I came to the appointment. She gaslight makes excuses for my abusers, hasn't given a single insight or solution or coping skill in months. The only good thing about el rio in four years was my case manager as she always advocated for me. But she also dropped me without communication. I reccomend going to pathways or else where. My therapist changed all the time a psych as people are always leaving el rio as the better jobs are anywhere else.

Update 4/29 It will have not received a call back from the manager of mental health and mental health manager. Keeps hanging up on me and I'm going through big transitions or restraining order and a bunch of things right now and they don't seem to care. Do not go here under any circumstances. No art meetings no accountability no scheduling nothing.

NEGATIVE STARS ALL AROUND!

I've never felt so neglected, invisible, impoverished, or hopeless, in my entire life, after having to go to El Rio, on Congress.

The usual wait, inside the exam room, WITH an appointment, can exceed 45 minutes, to an hour, only to have an RN glance at you, for ten minutes, but never really look at you. You have to fight to get referrals, and I guess that's because every patient is an insurance payout.
I've been scheduled for behavioral health appointments, when the clinic is closed, and then gaslit, even with their text reminders to prove that's what they did. Refusal to help change a password to get into "MyChart" . Referrals that arrive at my home, LITERALLY TWO YEARS, after my doctor's visit... I've been told, that I'm a "new patient" and that I have no medical records there.... Had to cancel CT scans, because some RN who " doesn't know what the liver lessons mean" but won't give my care over to my oncologist, AFTER two years of cancer treatment.

My legs and chest were black and blue, after an auto accident. They forced me to come in, wait FOREVER without even a word, as to why, and basically said that I don't merit any after accident care, but have me so many terrible, scary degenerative diagnoses, that I feel depressed and without hope of recovering, EVER.

This place is an embarrassment to the health care system of America.
I am embarrassed for this country and the supposed treatment that is given at places like this. I feel so trapped and feel like they just see every person as a cash cow, per useless visit.

I HATE THIS PLACE.
SO much bull, that I don't want to take any more wasted time to even list it.

I was seen today for a follow up visit from the ER for a possible fainting episode. Which I still don’t know if it’s a seizure or fainting. I’m feeling very I’ll with extreme head pain and concerned because I never felt this before. I seen a NP Sara Santa Cruz she is a horrible provider first she was not even prepared or her staff with my The labs done at the ER I waited patiently in the room for over an hour for nothing. The provider Santa Cruz is very unprofessional she was so frustrated because she didn’t know how to treat me or do her own work up study on her own medical recognition and she literally yelled at me and stated I was talking over her and shows no empathy which is shocking in her line of work. After she yelled at my mother and I she left the room leaving me with no answers to my illness on top of being Mis treated and feeling ill I hope no one ever has to experience what I went through at this office when your feeling your worst and go see a DR for help and answers. Santa Cruz is a horrible provider and I hope no one experiences her horrible care and unprofessional attitude in a medical setting is just unbelievable. Horrible behavior for a professional medical title
