Nice hygienist. She could find a better place sometime.
Root canal. They fill it with something. Should the filling be felt as a jagged ie rough small clump on the back of your tooth?.. and the doctor saying "all good to go"? I'm saying "why isn't it feeling with my tongue like it did beforehand?.. can you smooth the material off?". He did half of.. but with attitude.. leaving some. But come on. Isn't it procedure to ask the patient after the procedure how the back of the tooth feels to the tongue? And he said "well it's not like you're going to be touching it a million times a day. You're just touching it right now with your tongue because it was just done". I said "surely my tongue touches it ONCE a day" and that's enough if it feels like a dried clump of filler and abnormal feeling compared to prior getting it done. Astoundingly daft of the place. Dental 101? = ask the patient how it feels to the tongue and be prepared to grind with your 10,000 rpm mini dremel that takes a few seconds with each touch to smooth it to where the patient says it feels like natural. To be detailed enough to do the procedure on the tooth.. there is zero excuse not to be detailed enough to address something like this. It would be obvious looking at it by a doctor if it felt like a small clump of material to the tongue.
Wonder if it's most of Northern Arizona doctors are half A'd.. or is it just Kingman. Kingman is a BFE outpost when it comes to a lot of medical, so I've read. I miss the normal thorough doctors of Bellevue, WA years ago. Don't want to include Prescott or Flagstaff in that because not knowing how they are there. It's an attitude of hastiness.. and is ripping off basically. For sure in Henderson NV there's better ones. Bullhead and Havasu are probably even better staffed with more thorough doctors. This seems so basic as to be stupid. How could any material be left to make it feel unlike natural? That's like a doctor putting an implant in with a clump on the back of the tooth implant. Or a regular type cavity filling on the side or top of tooth and leaving it sticking out overfilled.
Question: We thought it was supposed to feel natural!? Really?
It's malpractice.. akin to a doctor stitching an incision all rough without the two ends meeting evenly, one side of the incision bunched up like a clump.. so it is upraised scar tissue. Not thorough.

We moved to Kingman during Covid and stayed away from the dentist until we got the all-clear from our primary doctor. The wife and I scheduled appointments together to get a cleaning and establish a new dentist here in town. We last saw the dentist in Salt Lake City in 2021 before we moved.
My evaluation exam & x-rays was the most miserable experience I have ever had at any dentist in 65-years. They are using some new technology that does the x-ray electronically that will take the image and display it on a screen as they take them. They put a sensor with a cord attached in your mouth that captures the image. That sensor is attached to a set of disposable plastic backing plates that they break apart from each other. These backing things are part of a sheet of plastic parts that the dental hygienist breaks apart and uses each piece, attach the corded sensor and shoves it in my mouth. The thing has sharp edges and splintered plastic where it goes against your gums – and they have you bite down hard. After the third x-ray- my gums are bleeding from being cut by these sensor backing pieces. I stopped the process and showed her the sharp edges and told her that it hurts very bad – she did not care.
I endured the pain of the x rays and gave her some serious feedback after grabbing one of backing pieces and showed her where the parts break apart, it leaves a shattered fragments of plastic sticking out – and she shoves those into my gums. She did not give one care, and just said that “this is the new way for x rays” I continued my exam with the doctor, mostly without any issues. I explained to him that the x ray experience is miserable – in front of the staff in the room.
At the end, All I wanted to do was get out of that place… The front Receptionist handed me an appointment card that I canceled the appointment days in advance, but they called me to say I missed that appointment – that I canceled more than one day in advance. I will NEVER go back.

Just had some work done here. The staff are extremely friendly, made me feel very comfortable, and were very understanding with my fear and anxiety of going to the dentist. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist to go to. I will continue going here while getting more work done

Dr Kirk Larson is a lifesaver! He extracted my wisdom tooth in less than 3 minutes without any issues. He and his assistant were kind, and considerate. I highly recommend this office.

This place is absolutely amazing from the moment you make an appt, to the reminder call, to when you walk in the door. They are extremely nice, friendly and very welcoming. They make sure you’re comfortable and situated with no issues. Never felt so at ease in a dentist office.

My family and I really like this Dental Office. Their prices are competitive and our favorite Dentist is Seth. He's great at getting difficult molar teeth out. His relative "Thadius" was who I first got when I went here several years back. He mostly works at their Bullhead City clinic but he does awesome cosmetic work with veneers, etc. I was super excited after seeing their Hygentist "Andrea" yesterday for a cleaning. She gave me the most thorough cleaning I've had in decades. I had bad coffee stains on my teeth that hadn't had a cleaning in three years. My gums were sore last night but that's ok by me. I have nerves exposed with gums that hurt when scraped. She numbed them with tasty topical. I'm thrilled with seeing my white teeth again. My adult Daughter just went here and couldn't believe what a deal she's getting on her crown and root canal. If you have an emergency the ladies at the front desk will work hard to accommodate you especially if you're a regular patient. I really like this Dental group. I used to be a Dental Assistant so I'm a good judge of how a proposed dental plan of action should work. They're great at working with every budget/insurance. They do research your insurance and have always been accurate with their quotes. I don't want to sing their praises too much because it appears that they've grown and taken on many more patients. Just look at my white teeth! Andrea is fast and thorough!

Do not go to this Dentist His assistants are horrible,,,, I went there because my tooth was cracked, He told me it was cracked in half and he had a replace with a costly very implant$$$$$, and they only gave me one week's supply of medication to see if it gets better!!! I have a preconsisting disease! That is well known and they don't understand it? and they don't understand sometimes it takes two week's supply, The doctor is young and no offense he doesn't know about partial Rout canals, I called the girl assistant today, She is very rude and Won't let me speak to The doctor, she's just wants me to come in and spend a lot of money on the implants$$$$$$$$$ They just want to pull your teeth and make you spend money on implants!!! So they can make money!!!! And not solve the Problem!!!!! That would be cool if they knew what they were doing But this doctor doesn't even know about a partial route chanel (((((beware))))) it's done common in california, And why would you want a dentist To work on Teeth? if he wasn't knowledgeable about the latest procedures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
