Made an appointment for my son over two weeks ago for an evaluation of a cavity 30 minutes into the appointment I asked when we would see the doctor as my son was getting his teeth cleaned for some reason. Come to find out they put my son’s appointment in as a new patient with cleaning the doctor went home early for the day. Nobody bothered to tell us that at the beginning of the appointment before we went back and he sat in that chair. if I would’ve known the doctor was not in, I would’ve rescheduled the appointment. They took two sets of x-rays for some reason even when I Specifically asked for 3-D x-ray since it was a pretty bad cavity and the 3-D would be necessary anyway to make sure the cavity hadn’t reached the pulp yet. But instead of honoring that request, they did a basic x-ray first and then told me “oh yes we’re going to need to do the 3d because that cavity is pretty bad” So now they’ve used up the allowed x-rays for my son’s dental insurance for the year and I will have to pay out-of-pocket For the One and only x-ray that I asked for in the first place. so not only did they do that but then they proceeded to tell me the doctor went home early. She wasn’t feeling well. OK that’s fine. Things happen. I understand. I asked when the doctor returns to the office will someone give me a call after she’s looked at the x-rays to tell me what the next step would be what the treatment plan would be? I was told yes We will call you and let you know or She may want to see your son in person! I have now taken a half a day off of work to make this appointment. They did more x-rays than what was necessary and the doctor wasn’t there so now I get to take off of work once again to go back for a treatment plan and the worst part of all of this I have called and left several messages still have not heard from that doctor or the office!! And in the meantime, my son‘s cavity is going to continue to get worse! every time I call I get the same thing“oh yeah, we’ll have someone call you by the end of the day”Nothing we have heard nothing not even an apology. so now I have to find another dentist and go through all of this again and it’ll be out of pocket because we are only allowed so many visits and x-rays per year with the insurance I have for my son. Very unprofessional, very frustrating and now very costly!!

This dentist office has given me the best experience I’ve ever had by far. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I went in nervous and shy , and I left feeling confident and educated about my oral health. So this is an appreciation review. When you move to a different state and leave your family, doctors, trainers, dentists, it's really nerve-racking. Trying to find all of those normal pieces to every day life you haven't really had to look for is overwhelming.

Well, I was at hot yoga, and I knew I needed to find a dentist... I looked up and saw Tatum Point Dentistry. I thought to myself- "It can't be this convenient, right? I'm sure they're not the one and I need to do more research." I went home, and looked at their reviews and was blown away. Everyone talks about how amazing Christine Gonzalez and her team is.

Well, oh my gosh... I've always been terrified of the dentist. This is the very first time I felt completely taken care of. Her and Clarence were PHENOMENAL. They took all the fear out of it- they were funny, personable, and you could tell that they truly care about people and their attention to detail was incredible. If your full insurance coverage hasn't kicked in yet, they'll even cover part of it for the patient! That's unheard of! I wanted to cry when I realized ours hadn’t fully kicked in since our move to AZ, and I needed work done immediately. They even send someone in to talk with you (I’m SO sorry I’ve forgotten your name!) to tell you the financial breakdown and discuss options- she felt like my cheerleader and I really appreciated it! Who does that? They’ve really thought through their customer-first approach and since I deal with people in my career, and really caring about their fears and goals, I really appreciated this.

So if you're looking for a dentist or don't feel like your current one is that great, please call them. You will not regret it. I feel incredibly thankful that I found them!

Dr. Christine Gonzalez and her staff at Tatum Point Dentistry are quite the magnificent group of healthcare professionals! They have a quiet, clean dental office which fosters a calming environment. Dr. Gonzalez pays close attention to her patients and allows them to ask questions to their satisfaction. The dental hygienists all take time to explain their findings while performing cleanings and examinations. Finally, the front office staff is extraordinarily polite and makes you feel very welcomed. A very bad experience. I had a 3pm appointment today for a cleaning and got there 5 mins early, they took me to a room at 3:15 took my blood pressure and was told that someone will be in shortly. I waited till 3:36 for my 3 o'clock appointment and no dental hygienist came in. I informed the front desk that I was leaving. I also had a questionable financial situation earlier this year with this office, and contacted my insurance company.
