Everyone's experience at the dentist is different but mine was, by far one of the best interactions with a dentist and oral surgeon I've ever had. I recently had a tooth pulled by Dr. Young and his team. They walked me through the whole process, checked on me throughout to make sure I was okay and let me know what they were doing during the extraction. It was a fairly quick and easy appointment with no pain or discomfort.
The whole staff at Gentle Dental is amazing though. Everyone is so nice and they explain everything well. They always ask me if I have questions or concerns. 10/10 for dentist visits/ office.

Update: Finally got someone and I explained that I never would have gone back to see anyone if I had been told they could not tell me the cost, but an estimate of putting on a crown would start at $194. But I was told it would be $50 and the cost of the glue. The office manager could not understand my frustration and now have to file something with the BBB. Stay away! (looking on BBB seems all of their offices have a F rating as they don't bother to respond)

Update: Tried calling their offices multiple times to talk to the practice manager only to be on hold for 10+ minutes. Yeah just not worth the hassle.

Oh man, so ticked at this office. I was there on travel and my crown cleanly came off, I was getting on insurance in two weeks, but did not have insurance at that moment. I went in and asked how much it would cost to get the crown put back on, and was told a visit was $50, and then it would be the cost of the glue, so I am thinking ok about $70 for this, and was ok with that. Then they took me back and presented me with a bill for $196, I was so mad, as I wasted about an hour there, and was not going to pay that much to get it attached. I walked out, and they came after me for the office visit payment, and I was not going to pay for a visit that I never would have had if they had been honest. Now they keep hounding me for that $50, UGH, just leave me alone!!!

(If your crown falls off CVS has temp glue that you can use until you get to your dentist, and would have been nice if they had just shared that tidbit. Cost me all of $7.)

I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed and everyone was so nice!! I was terrified but everyone made me feel so comfortable and safe! One of the dental assistants held my hand and reassured me everything was going to be okay! It was one of the kindest gestures she could have done for me! Thank you to Dr. Yong and everyone who helped make this procedure go as smoothly as possible!

Very friendly and warm folks there. Four stars due to a little buyers remorse due to what I felt was high pressure sale on an expensive anti microbial gum treatment. Didn’t have infections or gum bleeding,( everyone does on deep cleaning), but was told my teeth were at risk of falling out. Mind you this was the first initial visit and they hit me hard with this as I only had minor work required. Teeth been in my head for 66 years and I want to keep them there, so I’m giving the benefit of doubt since I can afford it and I have good insurance. But felt overly pressured to have it done. We shall see how it turns out.

Friendly professional staff. I had some oral surgery work done. It went smoothly, and I have almost no pain or discomfort the next day. I highly recommend this office and their friendly staff.

Dr. Ashraf and his assistants, Nick and Thanh, were an amazing team! They worked so well together performing my extraction and implant that I didn’t even think about being nervous! I would highly recommend them!

I found my first experience at this location subpar compared to the previous location I used to visit on Greenway and 75th. This is specific to the administrative side of this practice. The wait time was really long (~ 40 mins). Then I found tat they did not correctly run the estimate through the insurance and quoted my share of the treatment at 100s of dollars with zero contribution from insurance. When I asked them to re-check, they came back with a revised estimate $65!! But to top it all, when I asked what happened, the front office was dismissive and just shrugged and said they "fixed" it. Found the lack of customer focus a bit disappointing.

On the actual clinical side, I found the work done by the hygienist quite good. She took sufficient time to do the cleaning and take specific actions based on my dental history.

Wow what a horrible experience. 1st my partner goes to them after told "yes your insurance will cover everything, as we are in-network" then he has to pay after services are rendered. (VERY SNEAKY)
Then I find out the reason he paid was because indeed gentle dental is Out of network. Okay fine we will eat it, because we should've called our insurance as providers don't care about doing their due diligence for patients. They just care about their payment of course. Then we cancel our future appointment because we obviously don't want to be billed again by an out of network provider when we can simply go see an in network dentist. I then cancel my future appointment in advance just so they can bill me a $50 missed appt.
I also experienced an extenuating circumstance where I had a family emergency and was not able to make it to my appt which I called and canceled.
I called in to get the fee waived due to my circumstances and Amy "manager" said "okay but did someone die? Do you have the death certificate?" Like wow what an embarrassment excuse of a manger. Where is the professionalism? The empathy?
Amy if you are reading this, DO BETTER miss mam.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
