I had the best experience at sun west Endodontics. Every single person who works here is unbelievably nice. I cannot recommend Dr. DeGracie enough. He was very patient with me & really took the time to get to the root of what was causing me pain. He was never pushy on doing any work if we were not sure it was the issue. I am terrified of having dental work done, however, I was very comfortable here & appreciated how much everyone cared. They were so quick to get me in, multiple times. I highly recommend Dr.DeGracie & his staff.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful treatment I received, from the front staff who were so kind and compassionate, and Dr. Degracie was amazing. Great experience all the way around.

As a fellow dentist, I am obviously judicious and careful whom I recommend to my patients, family and friends. And being a fallible human being, as well as my having delayed timely check-ups due to Covid shutdowns, (like so many people), I ended up today having not just one Root Canal treatments, but 2 Root Canals! Ugh. Right! Well not bad at all!
Dr Simpson was TERRIFIC! His local anesthetic injections (shots) were completely pain less! He was very meticulous and gentle while he was treating me. And as Dentist myself, I could see the finished service results, and they were text book perfect! And hats off to my good friend, Dr Kevin Mueller DMD, who referred me to Dr. Simpson. Kevin has been my general dentist for years! Dr. Mueller is also a superb general and cosmetic dentist. So both these docs are absolutely wonderful people and superb clinicians!

Originally, I had an appointment for a consultation but, before my appointment, I was impressed with how the office staff called me to offer me an earlier appointment so I could get my root canal done in one visit instead of two. I was a bit nervous & unsure of what to expect but Dr Simpson & his awesome assistant put me at ease. I remembered getting numb hurt pretty bad. Luckily, Dr Simpson has a light touch & I didn't feel a thing. I was surprised at how quick, efficient & painless the whole procedure was. Great job Dr Simpson! You can give me a root canal anytime, sir. 😉

Dr. Simpson and his staff are awesome! They care and are concerned about the patient. Fearful as I was, everything was thoroughly explained and I was made to feel comfortable. Many years of bad dentistry has left me apprehensive, and Dr. Simpson was very understanding.

New to the Surprise area as many people are, I hope sharing my experience will help make a decision a little easier about quality dental care for others.

Thank you to Dr. Simpson and staff.

I appreciate that I was able to get a same day appt. However, I got a root canal done, and did not have my vitals/blood pressure taken before the procedure. I've always had vitals taken prior to any dental procedure, so this was odd and made me feel uneasy. The Dr. seemed nice, but not the greatest bedside manner. He did not say much to me during treatment (asking how I'm doing, walking me through step-by-step, etc.)
*Edit - It has been a couple months after my root canal, and I regret getting it done. Although the process itself at this office was minimal pain, I don't think I actually needed a root canal. My dentist completed a filling for me on that tooth, tooth #4 to be exact, and it had only been a couple of weeks and I felt some sensitivity still. Since my dentist was out of office, he gave me a referral to see an endodontist for a second opinion, which is what led me to this office. After my radiograph were taken, I was shown my x-rays and my tooth was not infected and my filling was still in tact. However, the endodontist informed me I was just "unlucky" as my root was long and close to the updated filling. He then proceeded to place some air over my tooth and yes, it was cold but my dentist informed me sensitivity on a filling is expected. Long story short, I feel I was pushed into getting a root canal that was not needed. I really would have appreciated just a second opinion, and not scammed into getting a root canal done without an infection even present. Once my general dentist returned to his office, and I mentioned I did get a root canal, he was quite shocked too because he double-checked that tooth just a couple weeks before and the filling was fine and no infection. The root canal wasn't needed, but this office got my money anyways, sadly.
