I am writing this letter to wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Michell Collins for their exceptional skill and care as a surgeon. I have had the privilege to be under Dr. Collins care for the last 8 months. He took on my very complex case, and I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, expertise, and compassion his team provided.

I have never written a review in my life but feel compelled to tell everyone about the exceptional care we receive from DR Collins and his entire staff. We have been patients since 2012 and praise God everyday for sending us to them. With all the numerous surgeries we’ve been through our trust in DR Collins speaks for itself. We feel the isn’t anything he can’t fix.To say they all care is an understatement. Everyone in his office will go above and beyond time after time to ensure you get the optimal results.

I had my wisdom teeth surgery done by Dr. Collins. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable as well as making the procedure a very simple and easy process. My recovery went very well with no issues. The staff is always there to help and truly care about each of their patients. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Collins!

The appointment made as a new patient to have a consult was the most disappointing, unfair and humiliating experience ever encountered aside from an emergency admission in North Carolina for a concussion. My intent was made clear to staff that I needed to ask advice and see if the implant Iv have was "facial" and what steps could be taken as well as an adjacent tooth with an ill fitted crown that is too big. It was made clear on phone before appointment I had lost confidence in the dentist who did these yet later via an email from an accounts person he referred me back to him. Only so much as 7-8 minutes of time and no questions I had were able to be voiced. I spent most of the time in the exam room alone. I had asked the first question I had when he was called out of the room. $500 self pay for x-rays I don't know where to go with that has compatible software to read if I pick them up. He indicated he would try to finish my implant and to trim the over big crown so that is why I got upper/lower jaw CT scan which now is useless to me. I am seeking someone seeing he didn't even give a referral to someone else who can review these x-rays to finish my incomplete work. This letter means nothing. I also think it odd someone named Meghan called my prior dental place my day of appointment. Usually you ask the person to supply the records or tell them at least you are calling them. I got nothing which would be considered comprehensive.

I called for an appointment and received appointment card and a nice letter plus new patient forms to fill out. I explained post op pain and swelling and what another dentist called a "facial" implant. During another call I was interrogated and explained that I wanted the doctor to view the implant and it's position. I was seeking advice of what to do and if detrimental or beneficial to just remove it or it could be ok to get crowned as well as possibly correct another tooth crown next to it which was too big. This person even called another dentist who said it was facial. When I arrived I was made to immediately get a panoramic even though I told the girl I'd like to talk to him first and see if necessary. After I conceded to get the pano she put me in supine almost upside down position in chair and left the exam room, closing the door. Then the doctor came in and right away said he didn't do dental. He said he may be able to help with implant though if he could get the parts. He would try to trim down the crown too big for me also if he could. This gave hope he would work on me so I went for another X-ray he needed, incurring another $275. (Self-pay). I called to make a new appointment and the phone was turned over before I could ask to a woman in accounts named Kristen. I've been told $500 later I can't see him or talk to him. and he still hasn't answered the questions I never got opportunity to be answered because he was called out of the room when I asked first one. He only told me it was "a little off" and it was not in my sinus. I was not offered to look at the CT scan of my upper and lower jaw nor was I read the report of anything else seen. I do not know why Kristen has talked over me, deleted my emails, told me she's been there 26 years and I can't see the doctor or talk to him on the phone to get my answers. She hung up on me today. She also lied, saying I was there 2 hours. Total time spent in the presence of doctor was two 4-5 minute conversations at the most. Most of the 30-40 minutes in the room was spent by myself with a closed door. I'm trying to find someone else who uses the same software to read the X-rays and address a possible jaw alignment issue and questions. I found this whole experience disappointing, humiliating and unfair. I don't know why they even gave an appointment knowing everything I needed beforehand. I hope Mitchell Collins sees this as I don't think he's aware of her manners and ways. In addition to this I have an oversized crown sticking into my tongue. I wasted time and money for nothing on expensive x-rays of no benefit without even another oral surgeon or dentist referral with compatible equipment to read them. He knew I did not intend to return to the dentist who placed the implant and crown yet received an email from this account person saying he refers me back to him. Minus 1⭐

My husband has had the worst experience with Collins and trying to get his wisdom teeth removed. He has been rescheduled at least 3 times if not more. We no longer trust the service they provide with how poorly he was treated. We will be seeking his wisdom teeth removal elsewhere with a capable doctor and staff that will not reschedule him constantly.

My experience with Dr. Collins and his staff has been extensive. Due to no fault of his own and my own underlying medical issues, I had some complications after my surgery. Dr. Collins and his staff always put my well being at the top of their priority list. They work wonderfully to make sure that I am comfortable and that any issues that arise are handled quickly and efficiently. They handled my complications with the utmost skill and experience. I highly recommend him as well as his support staff. A plus efficiency, skill, patient care and experience.
