Best dental practice in Denton, hands down! I’ve been with Dr. Leatherwood almost from the time she opened her practice on south Teasley. She has the most up-to-date equipment, so that every visit is comfortable, pain-free, & respectful of the patient’s time and budget. Her hygienist is the best ever in my 74 years! Yesterday my kids had their teeth cleaned at Leatherwood Family Dental. My son did amazing while his sister was a little nervous because she has a loose tooth and was afraid it would come out at the dentist.
My daughter wants to be a dentist, so of course she had to ask if she could clean her brothers teeth. The hygienist, Val, was amazing, she let my daughter help out by holding stuff for her and hand her things. She was so patient and never complained about my daughter getting between her and my son’s mouth while working. Instead she just shined her light in his mouth so my daughter could see inside. Best experience ever for teeth cleaning for a 4 and almost 6 year old. They were greeted by chattering teeth upon arrival and received a prize from the treasure box before we left!
My husband had his teeth cleaned the next day and raved about how awesome she did as well!

Leatherwood Dentistry truly can remove all of the anxiety associated with dentist visits. Her staff is always friendly and Dr. Leatherwood has a way about her that eases those of us that would rather do anything than sit in a dentist chair! Highly recommend.

I came in for a cleaning today, it was an overall great and enjoyable experience. All of the people that work there are amazing people and very welcoming. Val was friendly and did a fantastic job on my cleaning today. Nothing hurt at all, I was comfortable, and they made sure I was well adjusted !

Dr. Leatherwood and her staff are the best. They care and feel like friends. During this pandemic they are taking every precaution and went out of their way to make me feel safe. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Leatherwood just replaced a crown that had given us a very difficult time. She kept working at it until it fit perfectly. I recommend Dr. Leatherwood and her wonderful staff. Monica, Val and Christina are so friendly and helpful.

I am not comfortable with dentists. But I will say Leatherwood Dentists made me feel so comfortable. They were so personal and helpful. I could tell they saw my anxiety. This is a great team. Samantha Leatherwood and her team are top notch. They are patient with us older folks and were able to direct me with next steps that I need to take. I would highly recommend them.
