The beautiful teeth crafted by Dr. Davis did not properly fit my mouth, warranting a rating of three stars. It seemed as though they belonged to someone else.
Upon seeking a reevaluation to address the ill-fitting teeth, it became evident that the teeth implanted created speech patterns, mouth protrusion, deep overbite, and my apprehension to smile due to their disproportionate size.
During my interactions with Dr. Davis, he initially labeled me as hostile, which I found demeaning. I politely suggested that he revisit the definition of hostile in the dictionary, to which he responded with a chuckle during our consultation. Despite my calm demeanor, I requested that he shorten my teeth, only to be met with refusal. This refusal to listen and accommodate a simple request exposed a lack of attentiveness and care for the patient.
It is essential for medical professionals like Dr. Davis to value the voices of their patients and avoid diminishing their concerns. While the teeth created by Dr. Davis were visually appealing, they did not align with the size of my mouth. Despite providing X-rays and images as evidence, he misguided me by asserting that I had an overbite since birth.
It is important to acknowledge that mistakes happen, and gracefully accepting feedback is crucial in any profession. I sincerely hope that Dr. Davis will reflect on his approach and strive to genuinely listen to his patients in future interactions. It is apparent that my specific case did not receive the level of understanding and attention it deserved from Dr. Davis.
