There is a lot of dental clinics in Tokyo, but to find a good one can be a difficult task. I have stumbled upon the Dental Studio STOD by chance and I am not disappointed. The doctor is very-very accurate, friendly, and ready to help and to explain in details what he is doing with your teeth. He also speaks English fluently for foreigners, who do not understand the Japanese language. The clinic is not large, but it has good equipment including CT scanner.

I lived in Japan for a one year program and urgently needed a dentist. I found Doctor Terasawa through references and I’m so glad I did. Doctor Terasawa was incredibly helpful for several complex procedures including gum surgery, crown creation, and night guards. Doctor Terasawa was patient, communicative, spoke English, and was available around my hectic work schedule, including nights and weekends. Doctor Terasawa was so good, I would consider returning to Japan for serious procedures just to have him as my dentist. I highly recommend Doctor Terasawa if you need a dentist in Tokyo.

Dr. Terasawa is a wonderful, skilled dentist, and he is very kind and patient. My daughter was scared of getting treatment for her 4 huge cavities, 3 of which required anesthetic injection. We spent a long time to help her ready herself, and Dr. Terasawa was very understanding and supportive throughout the process. My daughter now associates this place as a safe and pleasant place, and she loves Dr. Terasawa. He also speaks excellent English.

I had to see a dentist while on holidays in Tokyo due to a toothache. Luckily I found this dental office. They were able to see me the same day, spoke English well and provided good service. For check up, x-ray, antibiotics and painkillers I paid about GBP 80, which is reasonable for a private dentist. I would definitely recommend them.

It's conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Azabujuban Station. The staff are really friendly, are extremely knowledgeable and they WILL listen to your concerns. The studio provides information in English and unlike other clinics, it's not just one dental surgeon who can speak. Finally and most importantly they'll come up with a plan that is best for your teeth. I honestly can't speak highly enough of this Dental studio so if you value your pearly whites, go see Dr. Terasawa's team asap.

It was really hard for me to find an english speaking dentist,
but lucky i found dr Shohei Terasawa referred from a friend.
He is very polite and explain the treatment really well.
The treatment done was superb, the doctor was very careful with every steps, thumbs up.
The clinic was homey, and glad to see the certificate that he graduated his specialty in UCLA.
