However, I had a very nice visit with this Dentist, she completely put me at ease and understood my fear.

I have to leave a review for this practice because I’ve been to many terrible cleanings in different cities over the years. It seems dental work ethic and attention to detail is on the decline. Not at Duhamel! I moved to Monterey and still make the 3 hr drive to Valley Springs to specifically see Bernice, the most amazing, thorough, and detail oriented hygienist I have ever been to. She absolutely cares about the integrity of her work and makes sure to do her best getting tarter out of every nook and cranny. And she knows just when and where to apply the right amount of pressure to get the job done in a way that is the most comfortable for the client. She is also great at explaining everything in detail and answering any questions. Duhamel is great as well, but as someone that mostly just gets cleanings at visits, the hygienist is my biggest concern and I wish I could leave Bernice Ten Stars!!

The staff was very pleasant and courteous. The doctor was awesome, I was amazed I was able to get my son in the same day for an emergency appointment! They took great care of my 11 year old, I plan to take my soon to be 4 year old here as well. So nice not having to drive to the city for the dentist!

I want to start by saying,I have never been a fan of going to the dentist,until now.My experience with the DuHamel family Dentistry has been the best I have ever seen.They have all the latest technology and the professionalism and pride in there workmanship is superior to anyone I have ever gone to!!! I have never felt more comfortable,and now know i'm in good hands. I want to give a shout out to all military veterans (Disabled or not)to come check them out.You will not find a better dentist! P.S. Thanks to the Veterans Administration,They will pay for work here for all 100%Disabled Veterans, and we now have a better choice.Thank you!

I've been going here for 15 years. My recent experiences around their stance on covid safety are alarming . Yesterday I left an appointment before even taking my mask off having being treated disrespectfully and given excuses regarding my concerns about covid safety in general and specifically about the assistant I would have been very close to, breathing on me, had I stayed for treatment for a toothache. She was wearing a mask below her nose and responded in a non-committal and put upon way about "trying" to keep the mask up to cover her nose during treatment . I did not expect such bullying from Dr Duhamel either once the assistant called him in because of my objections to his assistant wearing a mask below her nose. He backed her up, telling me " We were being interfered with, so our lawyers told us not to answer any questions". His attitude has set the tone for the entire office I realized. I had encountered this uncaring attitude when I called regarding making a cleaning appointment previously and asked first about continued covid protocol. I did not go for my cleaning after that but decided several weeks later after having had a recurring toothache that surely Dr. Duhamel would be concerned for his patients. But no, I left yesterday when Dr Duhamel showed me out the back door , after I stated clearly "it is unacceptable that your assistant not wear a mask over her whole face" . Who and what do they care about if not for their patients health and safety? Their rights? Were it not for people getting vaccinated and wearing masks things would be much worse than they are. Dr Duhamel, telling me you got regular covid antibody tests yourself did not help me be a patient in your chair while your assistant was not wearing a mask AS A MASK. I am disappointed but another patient of yours told me by way of explanation , that you are "conservative like I am", he told me. From that I understood more fully. I do not share the values expressed by you and your office staff, and do not trust you to keep me safe under your care so it is no longer a good fit for me.

I had a dental cleaning with Bailey today, she is amazing and so pretty. The front office staff was extremely professional and also pretty. Now those women who work in the sleep apnea department, they are pretty, and very helpful! I highly recommend Dr DuHamels office, you will get tender loving care, and everyone is “pretty”!
