I took my parents to see Dr. Jim Chen. My parents both have implants from abroad and they are elderly and have issues eating. I emailed and texted his office and his receptionist was so kind and patient as she knew I was worried and needed help. They alway replied right away which took the stress of. They answered all my questions with great details and were very transparent with their charges. It really put a peace of mind on my parents as they are retired. We are so thankful that we got an appointment right away. It was a very nice office and the front desk receptionists were very kind at check in. We were quickly brought into the exam and met Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen is so kind, professional and thorough with my parents exam entire time we were there. My mom said she never had a dentist who talked to her like how Dr. Chen talked to her that made her and her mouth feel comfortable every moment at the dentist visit. She is 72 so she has seen many dentists in her life! Dr. Chen explained to us every step of the way to allow us to understand my mom's problems and fixed them right away on the same day! My dad shared with Dr. Chen what bothered him and Dr. Chen took my dad in and we are just so incredibly grateful for him and his team. My parents and I feel so lucky that we found Dr. Chen as you can tell that he cares about his staff and patients greatly by the way he talks. Thank you Dr. Chen!

I've had some pretty major dental issues for several years and it's been a challenge to find a dentist I felt comfortable with to take care of my situation. Dr Chen and his staff are spectacular -- it's now close to 3 years and I couldn't be happier with the care I've received. Great with patient care, Dr Chen makes sure excellent care is given and "checks in" during procedures for pain management. Special shoutout to Omar who coordinates appointments going over and above when I moved out of state but would fly in to finish procedures -- he sets the standard high!

Had my yearly exam here, the experience was excellent. Dr. Chen was thorough in his exam and cleaning. He explained me my case in detail. His assistants were very polite diligent in helping me with X-rays. Front desk made sure I was in and out on time. We look forward to having you as our family dentist.

For as long as I can remember, cleanings at the dentist have caused me pain ... until I started getting my teeth cleaned here, by Dr. Chen. Now my cleanings are pain-free (without any Novocaine, by the way). Amazing.

* I can confirm appointments by email (no need to call and wait on hold).
* Everyone there is pleasant and considerate.
* The waiting area is very clean.
* There is large-screen TV to watch while waiting in the dentist's chair.
* There's plenty of parking in the huge lot out front.
* The care at AFD is extremely affordable.
* They never try to upsell me on something I don't really need.

A special shout-out to Thuy, the spectacular dental hygienist who assisted during my cleaning last week. Upon reading in the patient notes that I have sensitive teeth, she took the initiative to warm the water used for my cleaning. Wow.
