I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Aldrich and her staff. I took my daughter (10) there. They were amazing with her. Kim was FANTASTIC and made her feel very comfortable. She had a great experience and can't wait to go back in 6 months. LOL Hey, anything to not be scared to go. I will be switching myself and going here, as well. I have already referred a couple of folks.

Rude staff and poor service. Had to wait a full week for Dr. Aldrich to address an extremely painful emergency root canal situation. Called in and left a couple messages explaining the situation hoping to get an appointment as soon as possible. When my wife showed up for the appointment, she and was told, quote, "that it isn't cool to have your husband call in to b**ch and complain", and that they are short staffed and busy. We are both quite disturbed by this response. Not to mention, Dr. Aldrich simply just filled in the cavity when a root canal was required. We had to schedule an emergency visit with a different dentist to take care of the procedure.

On a side note, we also always received a bill for general cleanings even though they are covered by insurance; had to call in every time to dispute the charge.

New patients BEWARE. Back in January I was in search of a new dentist after reading reviews and searching the area I landed on “Akron Dental Concepts”. I called to schedule my first appointment and they said they were 3 months out. No big deal most appointments that you make medical or dental are, so I took the first available and was scheduled to go in March. The week before my apt the office called me to notify me that the dentist would not be in on the day of my scheduled apt and asked if they could reschedule me. Again, no big deal I too work at a medical office and understand schedule changes.Fast forward to today, finally the day of my appointment. I arrive on time looking for suite 13 Akron Dental Concepts. After a few minutes of no luck finding the office I call, no answer. Continue looking can’t find it call again, no answer. Finally after reading another google review I see “ Dr Aldrich” and I know I saw that name in the building. I find the office 15 minutes after my apt time. The sign on the door says “Dr Aldrich Suite 14” no wonder I was unable to find the office as I was in search of “Akron Dental Concepts Suite 13” both wrong. I go in, sit and wait for someone to come to the desk about 5 minutes after someone comes to the counter and asks for my name. As I’m late she has to ask the dentist if she will see, which the dentist says no and that I will have to reschedule. I let the receptionist know that I tried calling in TWICE because I was lost and she told me that the person that answers the phones works from home. I told her to not worry about rescheduling as I have no intention of ever going back to that office.

Dr Aldrich has a wonderful dental practice filled with knowledgeable, pleasant hygienists and other staff member. I like that my hygienist uses hand scaling rather than a machine and that she takes the time to make my teeth look and feel great. Dr Aldrich, herself, is concerned about her patients and is as gentle as a dentist can be! I am glad that I found this office and have no plans for going elsewhere--no need!

My family has been coming here for several years, and we have always had a good experience. I recently broke a tooth and they took care of me quickly and with great care. Della is always very helpful, and Dr Aldrich is great at explaining what to expect during a procedure. I thoroughly recommend Akron Dental Concepts!

Dr. Aldrich has been my dentist for approximately 20 years now. She always wants to do her best work the first time! She has corrected a thing or two for me over the years I've been seeing her and always without any complaints! I appreciate her desire to make things right and confirm that I am pleased. I left a message regarding a new patient appointment due to tooth pain. I received a return call the following morning with an appointment for that afternoon. I get to the office and sign in, waited in the waiting area for a minimum of five minutes, if that and was taken straight to the back. The final result was a cavity, to which was cleaned an filled with no problem. Dr. Aldrich, Katie, and Mary were awesome. They worked as a team, and had me in and out a little over an hour. Della the office manager was also friendly and very knowledgeable about the insurance. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a friendly, and fun atmosphere to take your mind away from the discomfort. This is now my family’s new dental provider!

I adore Dr. Aldrich, Della, and the rest of the staff! Dr. Aldrich is friendly, personable, and an excellent dentist in so many ways. A childhood experience led to me experiencing anxiety at just the THOUGHT of visiting the dentist-Dr. Aldrich and her team helped me to overcome my anxieties and have great teeth! Doc does phenomenal work and has the lightest touch. I’ve recommended this practice and will continue to recommend them.
