Dr. Antipov installed 11 implants for me (6 upper & 5 lower) in early January, 2024. They 3D printed plastic upper/lower dentures overnight and the technician, Paul, installed them the following day. I was tender, but walked out with a smile. It takes six months for your gums to heal in order to have more permanent dentures properly fitted.

Over the course of my healing months, I managed to crack the temporary plastic dentures a number of times by biting too forcefully, not from crunchy foods. Each time they 3D printed a new one, usually within a day or so, and Paul would install for me. I believe I broke the upper twice and the lower three times. All replacements were free of charge...within that six month healing time frame.

While this whole process is not cheap, I ultimately opted for the "cadillac" permanent dentures...with titanium bar and zirconium teeth. Paul installed them early September, 2024. And he took painstaking care with the fit and the bite.

They look fantastic. They fit perfectly. (Paul is more than a technician. He's an artisan.) I can bite and chew with ease and confidence. Again, this is not cheap, but I have had them now for a week and could not be more pleased.

I went through two years of misdiagnosis & various dentists, Endodontics, and finally with a whole team of UCSF surgeons, who were supposed to remove a stubborn abscess that had turned into a cyst in the upper gum, making it dangerously close to the sinus cavities. In the end, even a whole team of Maxillofacial UCSF surgeons did not solve the issue, despite having a surgery under general anesthesia & charging my medical insurance somewhere around $20k-30k—until I saw Dr. Antipov. I was also put on a pic-line IV for six weeks, which did not help & rather weakened my system.

You can imagine the relief when Dr. Antipov’s surgery, with local anesthetics, and a fraction of the cost finally did the job. If I had known I would have paid out of pocket from the start. Then given this success, I continued to work with them to get implants & for my general dental work & restoration. If there’s one reason why Dr. Antipov is such a rare surgeon, it’s because he’s unafraid to go where most do not have the experience or reach.

I have also found that this is an international hub of many nationalities that visit and work there. And they’re super busy, often up to two months booked out. They’re working on making more rooms available to meet the demand. So that may sometimes be a bit frustrating, but I got to work with their office manager Manuela and was thankful that she was able to take charge and work out those issues. In the end, I’ll stick with this team, and I consider them among the team of people who have literally saved my life.

My final lesson: If f you can & are lucky enough to get the right advice, once anything is suspicious and rare in your gums—teeth, etc., go straight to an experienced Maxillofacial surgeon, not more dentists, root canal specialists, etc.—but I’d go to Dr. Antipov given his abilities & expertise—out of pocket & despite the distance, even if I had to drive several hours—maybe even take a flight, in the end it’s worth your precious health.

All staff was friendly and very caring towards me during my visit. Dr.Dean is professional and has a naturally loved personality. Absolutely love this place and had a fantastic experience here. I recommend it to all my friends or anyone looking for services that they offer.
I had my bone graft and implant done there, which was very nerve racking to me. I was nervous and not sure what to expect. Dr Antipov took care of me right away, laid it all out to me in a way I actually understood and was left with all my questions answered. The surgery was quick and pain free, Dr Antipov is truly the best at his job!
The ladies behind the scenes were outstanding too and I cannot not mention them.
Olga is the sweetest and I always contact her with any questions, she never leaves her patients behind and will even stay extra long after her shift if someone needs to be taken care of.
She is knowledgeable and always greets you with a big bright smile.
Manuela and Solomia are also my go to ladies in the office. They are extremely helpful and will help you with any issue or concern.
They are all very quick and work together as a team, which is so important in an office setting!

Overall one of the best Implant Centers I have been too! My Treatment Coordinator Yelena, has been with me every step of the way during office hours and even after office hours to make sure I was comfortable and ready for the day of surgery. From when I came in for my consultation. And to the day of Surgery. I have not felt anymore comfortable with any other doctor, or in any other office.
