I’ve been well taken care of by Dr. Anderson and his team. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the plan is effective in helping me reach my goals. Dr. Anderson was transparent about the potential outcomes, clearly explaining what he can achieve and what is unlikely to happen. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have addressed all the questions I had.

Beware everyone, if you are a new ortho patient and have Dr. Anderson Kids Care Dental as your in-network provider with your insurance health plan as I have experienced, this is a warning to you not to use him as his practice and their process are a total scam after 6 mos of runarounds. On your initial consultation, a digital scan is performed, Dr. Anderson will review the scanned images, then give you his assessment of your treatment with his staff specialist, Maia. When Dr. Anderson leaves the room, she discusses the cost breakdown of what your in-network insurance carrier will pay and what your share is owed to Dr. Anderson. They will over charge you 65% more than what your insurance carrier is willing to authorize for in-network. They will over charge you 40% more of your upfront cost than what your insurance carrier allows you to pay for in-network. They will offer you incentive of a 5% discount if you act with his treatment plan within 3-4 weeks. Their scheme is they don't adhere to your insurance carrier's guidelines of completing the predetermination letter on measurements so your insurance carrier never can approve your treatment. Furthermore, Kids Care Dental gives your in-network insurance carrier a remote PO Box address in Los Angeles so the predetermination letter is never received by Dr. Anderson at his Fairfield office to complete the questions. They only follow up with you in the first month only if you commit to their 40% overcharge. For 6 mos, the customer service of their administrator staff and front desk, Jianna are poor, unfriendly, and not willing to resolve this with my insurance carrier. They never follow up, return phone calls, text messages if you don't first commit to their own price plan overcharges. As a corporation, they rather not be part of in-network with your insurance as they will lose their 40% profit so they ignore you intentionally. Many patients are unaware that the business practice of this corporation called Kids Care Dental is dishonest for its excessive charges and should be on guard and be aware to go to another Orthodontist that is ethical.

Apparently they’ve switched ownership and it’s very very noticeable. Getting this office to communicate or to answer the phone is near impossible. They have an answering service now. The answering service is very polite and professional, but they also cannot get ahold of anyone in the office.
The staff in the office are professional, but as a mother, who works far away from the office, trying to communicate with a human is near impossible. I had to take a day off from work to go in and speak to somebody.
Their patient follow through is close to none. My Son hadn’t been seen since September and it didn’t cross anybody’s mind to reach out and say… “Hey, we haven’t seen you in a while.” The answering service will offer you an appointment, but they are two or three months away. For as much money as I’m spending on braces which they happily accept on a monthly basis, My Son not being seen for seven months is insane!!!
They’re only open two or three days a week. They need more doctors, it was explained to me that they only have one and they are looking for another..
Had my account balance been open, I asked what the process was to switch to another Orthodontist but apparently we are done paying. How convenient. So we will stick through it considering his treatment plan is done in June. I’ll be happy to be done with this Orthodontist office.

My experience with Anderson orthodontist has been excellent. My son needed braces in order for his adult teeth to fall into correct position without interfering with his others. I've had to bring him in a few times for a pokey wire or bent wire and they help him every time and are very attentive and helpful. My son loves going there. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

I became a patient of Dr. Anderson's 9 years ago when I wanted invisalign. I returned last for another round of invisalign. The office listened to my concerns about the retainers I would use after the straightening was completed. The new retainers are significantly better than the set I had several years ago.
I definitely recommend Anderson Orthodontics.

Though I am very pleased with the outcome of my teeth, the customer relations is on the decline. When I arrived there was no one at the reception desk to greet the patients. Also, the staff person who scanned my teeth, did not realized that she was scanning my bottle teeth, when she should have scanned my top ones. Another staff person had to point that out to her. It took her longer to scan my top teeth. Honestly, I'm not confident that my retainer will fix correctly when deliver. I've noticed that when my teeth were scanned previously, there were no blue markers on the screen. I'm not a dentist staff, so I can't say with certainty that it was correctly done or not. This place has been terrible since it was bought out by Kid's Care Dental. Huge wait times for appointments, then being called and told that they did not schedule the right kind/length of appointment for my child even though I explained exactly what I wanted when I called, so they need to reschedule for another month and a half away! Can't get a person on the phone in the last week. I have tried three numbers more then 20 times. I have gotten a voicemail twice requesting a call back other times I go from hold music to a ring to silence or disconnect. Yet, I am sure they will want to charge me the $50 for the cancellation despite me spending more time on the phone trying to reach them then my child would have spent in the chair. We will be avoiding all Kid's Care Dental controlled offices in the future!

Dr. Anderson was my orthodontist as a teenager. I was happy with him. I am a bad patient and didn’t wear my retainer so I had to return for care. Dr. Anderson could’ve recommended a whole set of Invisalign or more but he suggested a half set of Invisalign and a retainer. If you are looking for a doctor you can trust and to give you the best care and the most affordable and reasonable option look no further.
