This isn't at staff. This is towards the business itself.
This company seems much more dedicated to making money and pushing as many appointments as they can put in a day. Which one set back and the whole day will be behind. I get arriving early to your appointments there could be payments to process paperwork what have you, but for this to be a mandatory get here 15 min prior and we aren't seen for almost 2 hours. How is that fair or make any sense. Then turning into a 3 hour+ appointment and most of it was spent waiting. How can you hold a patient to a certain expectation and standard when clearly you have none for yourself.

Would rather give them a zero, but I’m forced to give 1…,this is a horrible place. They tell you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment so you can sit in the waiting room for 3 hours. If they are running behind, be respectful of everyone’s time and send a text or a phone call that lets you know a better time. Also watched 4 people walk past a wheelchair that was in the way before the 5th person finally moved it.. geez

Disappointed, as a driver I expect to be able to drop my patient for their procedure go get food, do what I need to real quick and then come back. This facility makes you come 1 hour early and then has the audacity to tell you that you are required to stay on site for the entire time. It is a little ridiculous since they are the medical professionals and should be able to handle every situation presented to them. Inconveniencing the entire party is just silly.

Wonderful place, professional, efficient, they are so kind and really have it together. I'm so happy with my procedures. Doctor Park has given me so much relief. They should have a 5 star review. I definitely would recommend them, great place!

Absolutely the worst. They over schedule. You will literally wait hours beyond your appointment time to get in. The waiting room and hall are packed with people with no where to sit. You have to bring a driver so they have to sit another hour plus while your in the appointment. They don't care about the patients time or comfort.

I've been coming to this surgery center for 4+years and highly recommend it.
(*See below regarding bad reviews, my opinion)
The lobby and front desk are always clean, follow medical guidelines as required. The lobby has a television and magazines, and is on the smaller side, but there's always plenty of room for everyone.

The front gal has been there since before I started ( I apologize I forgot her name) she's friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, informative and professional. She's never been rude or uninviting

Most times I'm early and I go back early, my Dr is ahead of schedule.
My Dr has only been behind one time and a Nurse came to the lobby to explain a procedure was taking longer than anticipated.

Everything in the back from Prep to procedure through to recovery, immaculate, clean, organized

The Nurses with the surgery center (when you first go back) are always kind, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. They introduce themselves and explain what they will be doing today.
Ask questions if you have them, let them know you're nervous etc they are helpful

Then it's off to the surgery suite. Everyone is doing their job while running around gathering what they need for your procedure/surgery, most staff ask how you are as you go by, and procedure suite staff explain how they will be working with you today, iv, oxygen, etc and ask,how you are, any questions?, the Dr comes in, goes over everything (I always say at this point) "and they are off and running, the well oiled machine". It's never been anything less.
Off to recovery, exceptional care, love the staff here too.

*REGARDING BAD REVIEWS**

If the surgery center is running late, it is YOUR DR running late not the center.
Their surgery center staff are assisting your DR. If they were running late and your Dr was standing around waiting, would he/she not remedy that?
If that's how the surgery center is on your Dr's day, then his office is run the same way. Highly unlikely

Here's the thing, Different Drs use the Center on different days, your Dr may be there Mondays.? And My Dr's there certain days, I've had 3 Dr's work on me there, 3 of MY Dr's, a few of their staff, other staff work at the surgery centers- they may also rotate centers ,or som1 work in hospitals or ERs some days,
but, they are never running late.

When I'm there it's a well oiled machine starting with a familiar voice who calls me to confirm and makes sure I'm taking certain meds and stopped others *Like MY Dr told me to. If I have a question about that I have to call MY Dr's office.
If you were not told to stop meds before you got there, that's on YOUR DR'S office staff. When you are scheduled, your Dr office schedules you out far enough to stop certain meds and that should all be clearly explained by YOUR DR or his staff.

I've been reading reviews and disagree on the running late. I truly believe if you're kept waiting more than 20 minutes, (A) they should let you know they're running late (B) give you estimated wait time (C) when you go to YOUR DOCTOR'S office, talk to them about the time youve waited, and that also causea a lobby jam. Maybe your Dr is overbooking? Once in a while there's an emergency situation, and they run late.

An honest question to think about...knowing your Dr is ALWAYS late, (office, surgery) everywhere you see him, do you feel that when you go back to the exam room, you have adequate time for your concerns and the doctor is not rushing you ? I do have Doctors that I know run late, I always take something to read, and I don't complain or stress because I know when it's my turn I am never rushed, I leave having questions answered, thorough exam of body part I went for, results or whatever else I went for

None of this is on the surgery center, your Dr. Works out of the Surgery Center and may bring some staff with them to help in procedures.

I want in for a procedure today, the Dr cancelled the procedure for medical reasons. I went to the receptionist to get a refund on my copay. I chose to stand at her desk and wait for my receipt. The receptionist and another patient got upset about this and told me to move. The receptionist also told me if I didn't put a mask on I needed to wait outside. I chose to wait outside with the door open. The receptionist told me again to wait outside. I stated that I was outside. She then came over and forcefully pushed me away from the door. I am a physically handicapped person, I could not have defended myself if she had gotten more aggressive. Shame on her for assaulting a handicapped person.

Had stomach surgery 14 months ago, had an internal stitch and clip work their way out through an open wound I've had since. Do not go to the Banner Desert location. Never get to see your same surgeon, was even told to drink red kool-aid to see if it came out my wound. Dr. Perumian is the only one I'd have confidence in. They won't even return my call. When going to the ER, you get whoever is on call.
