I was treated kindly, professionally and with care. I had a painful toothache and the tooth ended up being extracted. Dr. Barkett and his assistant were so helpful in explaining everything along the way and giving me options for treatment. Dr. Barkett called me, himself, later in the evening to see how I was doing after the tooth extraction. That was a particularly nice touch. I, was very appreciative! I was looking for a dentist to change to when I made the appointment, I do not need to look further. I will come to Associated Dental Care from now on.

1st visit: 30 min wait in lobby before taken to a room. There are multiple dentists in this office. Dentist B. claimed he had to take an emergency visit & they were rushed so that's why I had to wait. He pricked my tongue accidentally. I didn't feel well when I went home afterwards & the temporary crown was so sensitive that I couldn't eat on it. 2nd visit: for cleaning; I told hygenist I couldn't understand most of what she said because she has a Russian accent as well as keeping her mask on all the time we were talking before she started working on me. Nevertheless, she didn't take it off even briefly to talk. It was the shortest cleaning I've ever had; not much done. 3rd visit/the day before Thanksgiving: I arrived on time and was asked to come out of the lobby to the side counter. (Since most staff no longer wear name tags where you can see them, I couldn't track down who she was when I went for my 4th visit.) She told me on this 3rd appt that I was 30 minutes late and the dentist told her to reschedule me. I showed her my appt book where I wrote down the time and that I was on time. Nevertheless, she rescheduled me even after I told her I was in pain that the temporary crown was sensitive. When I got home, I found the card where the office staff had written down the same time that I arrived which was the same time I showed her in my appt book. When I went in for my rescheduled appt to get my permanent crown, I respectfully mentioned all of these incidences to the dentist. I told him I was told I was late when I was on time, & showed him the appt card & my appt book. He sounded surprised () that I was told I was late. He said if you wouldn't have been rescheduled you would have had to wait an hour because they were so busy. They seem to overbook on top of accepting emergencies & lie, definately lack integrity. He didn't ask me if I wanted to wait an hour (which I would have preferred because I needed to be out of pain and be able to eat Thanksgiving dinner). Seems the real reason they rescheduled me is because he didn't want to stay any longer since it was Thanksgiving weekend. I mentioned that to him in a round about way. He claimed he didn't get out of there until around 6:30. When I got home and found the appt card that proved I was on time, I called and the person that answered said the front staff is gone but she would have them call me back (because I was upset. I thought they probably wouldn't call me since it was the day before and over Thanksgiving and a slim chance that they would call me before my rescheduled appt Monday. Of course I didn't get a call but that's minor compared to everything else.) The final straw was them lying and having the nerve to blame me saying I was late. (I don't like businesses anyway that say happy holidays which was the last thing he said and in return I said Merry Christmas. I don't like walking in and seeing evilness in their halloween decorations when fall decorations could have done just as well. This obviously is not the right dentist for me; especially one that can't own up to their incompetencies of overbooking, chaos and on top of that make it worse by lying AND blaming me. I would like to give a shout out to Vanessa who is the dental assistant. She is so kind, gentle, and excellent in her work. Too bad she has to work in such a chaotic, lack of integrity, office. She deserves better.
Btw, I read your canned answer to other complaints on here and you always tell them to call the office. I'm retired from running my own business and managed other businesses you should get off your butt and call the client yourself. I've said everything here though so don't waste my time; you already wasted it when you rescheduled me after I taken time to show up on time & you ruined my Thanksgiving eating.
I'M WRITING THIS PART IN CAPS to distinguish that I have read the egotistical response from whoever responds to these comments.

I am new to this dental practice and loved it. I had to switch to a dentist who accepted Arizona Delta Dental. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice. Dr. Wung and his team were professional and very thorough.

my experience with staff from the front of the house to hygienist was great! I will say that my hygienist was a recent graduate from school (first real job). She was awesome, polite and respectful - nice and professional. I am a recently new patient of Associated Dental so I don’t know yet how you do things…. with that said, I will give you this one specific piece of feedback. My total cleaning (time in chair) was approx. 25 minutes: no checking of depth of pockets, no flossing and no visit from the dr. When I asked why she didn’t floss my teeth and her answer was that she does not always do it - when needed and I didn’t need it (or something to that affect). I have made my next appointment with Daniella. Thank you. Elena Galbraith

Dr Wung was amazing, gentle and explained everything, I have major anxiety with dental visits and my first time there I felt so relaxed. Him and his assistant Jasmine were both very nice and welcoming. I’m greatful to have had such a smooth experience. I will highly recommend anyone I know to see them.

Not impressed with the oral surgeon who did not focus on what I was referred for. Instead he advised of more work than the referral suggested as well as tried to tell me I had other things going on that my hygienist has never said. In fact, my hygienist who I am very happy with, has told me the complete opposite. As a former employee of a dental office, I know how this works!?
