Hands down best dentist I’ve ever been to. He is very informative and takes him time with each patient. His work is immaculate. He also takes the time to build a connection with each patient, I was very comfortable. His staff is also very pleasant!

Scheduling families with more then one child. Back in July 2020 I was able to bring both my children and be with them for their appointments. The dentist was great, the staff was great. Then recently I take my children and I’m not allowed to have my children with me and be seen together. They wanted one to wait in the waiting room by herself, or have my other child by himself. So as a mother I got upset, dentist told me to leave and end result I left with my children. I also called cause I was very upset to remind them they should’ve scheduled us like that if the parent can’t be with their kids any more. They are minors. Also told them every time I make this hour drive to come out , I have a son that gets car sick and that is a challenge and I stopped three times so he can take a break just to get to the dentist. Also,I recently asked for my sons medical record for his school, they sent me the billing information which does not work for the school.
End of story all I wanted is to be able to have my children by me or in eye sight not behind closed door where I can not see or hear. So I really hope this office makes some changes for families for the future. I would have been perfectly fine taking one child one day and my other child another day. But that was not offered or mention when I made the appointment and that they can be seen at the same time.

I have had bad luck with dentist in the past but this whole dental family here in Barstow was very welcoming super nice and makes you feel at home and the Doctor Was very very patient with me in my needs & my fears very understanding & quiet the Jokester But I got him back

Dr. Olafsen is an excellent dentist, and one of the best I've seen in Barstow. I went to see concerning a dental problem that was created by other dentists in the Barstow area, and Dr. Olafsen patiently took on the task to correct the problem created by others. It took a moment for the final results, but his professionalism, and attention to detail provided me with a great fitting dental bridge. Now I can smile again in confidence! Above all, he has an award winning staff that is fun to talk with, as well obedient to their perspective duties. I enjoyed being in their company. "Thanks guys for my smile, I'll see you on my next check up!
