I love Sandy. She's an excellent hygienist and a lovely human being. The staff at Beach Heights Dentistry is very nice and competent. What I don't like about the business is the overkill of confirmation of appointments (you get a text to confirm, an e-mail to confirm, and a phone call all on the SAME day). I feel like confirming once should be enough for them to get the message that you will show up. Same thing with most of the other communication from them. It comes to your email inbox plus via text message to your phone, sometimes once, sometimes multiple times. I'm all for using technology, but I'd like it to be more streamlined. All of that said, if you need a dentist for repair of things done in the past or for regular maintenance and health, this is your place. And unlike other dental practices in Long Beach, I've never had BHD try to upsell a service or use the phrase "you still have money left in your insurance for the year so maybe we should..." So I appreciate their ethics and integrity and love looking at the Dr.'s paintings.

At each visit the greeting is always warm and welcoming. The staff is pleasant and cordial. Very skilled. The treatments are quite unmatched. It's really a joy to attend this office everyone focused on the treatment with the utmost of care. Unequivocally, it is quite amazing to step into a Beach Heights Dentistry pristine magnificent office only to learn it is quite the remarkable art museum, as well. the artist, the talented Dr Ting-Wey Yen, whom is the talented artist on canvas & artistry in the wide range of highly authentic all forms of dentistry ... Dr Ting and team were attentive and made my mom’s visit a comfortable one. He is reassuring and very knowledgeable. So glad we found this gem.

My mom has been to two other dentist, and her occlusion has been so off, she really could not eat well.

Dr Ting was able to evaluate and diagnose the issue and be very precise and correctly treat my mom so that she can now eat on that side. Which is something she has not been able to do for the last year.
