After researching many dental practices in the Bay Area, I chose Bliss Dentistry and I'm very happy with my decision. I've been a patient for several years now, and the care I've received from Dr. Takeda and Dr. Bliss has been excellent. They are both highly skilled, genuinely caring and take the time to explain everything clearly. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and they've always been very accommodating with scheduling, even when I've needed an appointment on short notice. They also handle multiple insurance plans, which is a huge plus.
If you're looking for an amazing dentist, I highly recommend Bliss Dentistry!

Had my semi annual teeth cleaning today and as always a perfect experience. Charles has been my go to hygienist for the past several years. He is always so thorough and contentious in delivering an outstanding teeth cleaning experience. In addition, the office staff are equally amazing and consistent in ensuring all questions are answered, staying ahead in scheduling the patient for the next appointment and accommodating any special needs or arrangements required. A++++++ dental practice!

I'm diligent about my oral health and have been coming to this dentist for 6 years. I will not be back.

I've always had great experiences with Dr Bliss. I had one of the worst dental experiences of my life with Dr Takeda which I can only describe as heavy handed and rushed.

I suspect part of this was due to the fact that I was the last patient scheduled for a 5pm meeting. But this is completely on the dentist -- if you can't provide quality service then don't schedule me at that time.

RUSHED: I was in and out in 30 min. This included Dr Takeda performing neck, mouth, gum exam, gum depth measurement, dental cleaning, manual scaling, polishing, flossing, and fluoride treatment. Gives you a sense of how rushed it was. This should normally take 1 hour. I arrived before 5pm, waited 5 min to be seated. Was out the door by 5:35pm.

HEAVY HANDED: the gum depth measurement was the most painful one I've had in my life. Stabbing so hard it felt unbearable. After the dental cleaning I had tears rolling down my face. This has never happened to me before. I think the doctor saw this and eased up with the manual scaling onward. But everything continued to be sloppy and rushed.

Leaving 2 stars out of respect for Dr Bliss and 6 years here but never again.

Staff is wonderful and accommodating! I was able to get a next day appointment when I called in severe pain. And I was not even an established patient. Mary Belle at the desk was awesome. Dr. Zin has a gentle touch and took time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend.
