Cahaba Medical Care

The Dentist and staff are great. It was the hygienist. My teeth were not clean. She did not polish my teeth. She said she would do it if I wanted her to. She did not give me a new toothbrush nor my next appointment card. I was very displeased and reported it to a staff member. I will return for service but never to her. She was the worst experience I have ever had with a hygienist. I pray that she did not treat any other patients that way.

The staff and doctor were amazing. Thank you for your support and understanding of my child's condition. You made her experience much more pleasant and comfortable.

So I'm not really sure how to rate Cahaba Dental initially I thought it to be a pediatric dental clinic but i never see any children even the reviews are from adults the initial dentist we had must not be there anymore as she was one of the opening Dentist that started at the clinic at the time so she was the one who saw my child each time (only cleanings has been done) every 6 months and i guess somewhere between that time and now i don't know if these are dentist, dental assistants or just staff but this last time my child and myself saw a new person (the teeth cleaning wasn't up to par to me they looked stained ) Mr.Merrit who seemed very disconnected and clueless about my childs teeth didn't really talk to me much the parent kinda had a "I don't know so I'm going to rush through and send/refer you to a real pediatric dentist attitude" in which he did refer me to a pediatric dentist in vestavia instead of children's of al dental not to mention my child was just seen for a cleaning 6 months ago and this visit Mr.Merritt found 3 caries and thought an underbite I tried to see if it what he wanted the child to do was the problem he kept asking him to bite his back teeth and my child kept smiling so i wasnt sure if what he was trying to say was correct I asked about a tooth I thought was a permanent that had come out he dismissed it and kinda shrugged his shoulders every since that visit I have been overthinking ,wondering if I should go to this referred dentist with this wrote out referral or try children's of al dental (its closer) to get a second opinion or first from a real pediatric dentist because if Cahaba Dental Clinic has to refer me to another dentist for issues they cant address I need a dentist who can do more stuff so i dont have to move around i need an do all pediatric dental clinic not just a cleaning and refer out i may go to the pediatric dental and like it and not return to Cahaba dental

I love this team that has been working on my teeth. So far all has went well. The process takes awhile to go through but I’m looking for the end results now

The Doctor and staff are very caring and patient. There is never a long wait to be seen. I would definitely refer my friends.

They are so nice, and I can get there in 5 minutes. They are a few blocks away.

I was in and out within a hour my tooth didn’t want to let go but they took care of me and I’m happy with the ending result
