Camino Real Orthodontics is pretty awesome.

I’m now 60 years old. My braces came off about a year ago. I had braces as a teen. I was an early Invisalign adopter 20+ years ago. My teeth were misaligned which prevented me from chewing properly and it was prematurely wearing out my teeth.

Over the course of my treatment Dr. Hassey and his team were always professional, friendly, and fun to be around. I enjoyed every one I f my office visits.

Something I’ve really appreciated is the after care. Once my braces came off, they scheduled me for periodic check ups to make sure my retainers were functioning properly.

Our family have been going to Dr. Hassey for about 13 years and he along with his staff have always been amazing. I’ve never had a bad experience with them. Pricing is fair especially compared to other offices and I’m not too shy to say I’ve missed a payment or two and they’ve worked with me on catching up. Having 4 (rambunctious) kids they have been very understanding and workable when the 5 of us have come in at once. I definitely put my stamp of approval for Dr.Hassey’s Camino Real Ortho! From Dr. Hassey to office manager Hermenia to Michael front desk team, are above and beyond team of experts!!! We came in for a 2nd consultation and came out with a solid excellent orthodontic treatment plan for my 7 year old daughter. I am impressed by Dr. Hassey’s precise, easy to follow explanation of my daughter’s dental 🦷 problem, anatomy and physiology of her teeth, and treatment plan without any dental or medical jargon involved, even my 7 year old daughter understood him. Most importantly, my daughter instantly felt comfortable and happy to work with Dr. Hassey and team of experts. We felt at ease, happy, and involved with the treatment plan. Furthermore, the pricing is on point and affordable and was given a healthcare discount since I work in the medical field. Who knew getting your teeth straightened could be this much fun? From the moment I stepped into Camino Real Orthodontics (La Costa), I felt like I was walking onto the set of a toothpaste commercial - smiles everywhere! But hey, it's an orthodontist's office, so I guess that's on-brand, right?

Dr. Michael Hassey and his office manager extraordinaire, Herminia Salacup, are the dream team you never knew you needed for your dental journey. They welcomed me like I was a long-lost friend who'd finally found their way home - to perfect teeth, that is.

Now, at the ripe young age of 46, I've had my fair share of medical appointments. But let me tell you, this place is different. They don't just talk at you; they talk with you. It's like they've mastered the art of "Orthodontics for Dummies" (no offense to us patients), breaking down every step of the process in a way that even my coffee-addled brain could understand.

The transparency here is so refreshing, I almost thought I was looking through invisible braces. They laid out a game plan that made me feel like I was strategizing for the Dental Olympics. Multiple options? Check. Reasons behind recommendations? Double-check. Opportunity to ask questions without feeling like you're bothering the cool kids in class? Triple-check!

My sister recommended this place, and now I know why. It's like she handed me the golden ticket to the Willy Wonka factory of orthodontics. I've already scheduled my next appointment, and I'm actually looking forward to it. (Who am I, and what have they done with the real me?)

I went to Dr. Hassey‘s office today for the first time for an orthodontic consultation. The office staff gave me such a bright welcome and it felt very genuine. It seems like a very happy office. Herminia, the office manager, was a good example of this and yet was very professional and explained things thoroughly. And Dr. Hassey was kind and honest (he could have recommended costly processes) in whom I feel comfortable to place my trust and confidence. I do highly recommend this office and Dr. Hassey.
