I'll start by saying I am terrified of going to any dentist due to many traumatic experiences as a teenager and young adult. So much so it caused me to avoid the dentist for 20 years. I decided to go to Pueblo Del Sol when I broke a front tooth. I was referred here by them and thus far I've been very happy with my experience. Dr Rivera has been wonderful, very kind and explains throughly what his plans are. Everyone in the office seems to go out of their way to help me feel more comfortable. My first visit I had an anxiety attack in the chair and the staff was so kind and reassuring. They not only allowed me to work through it, but they did everything they could to help me. Since that first visit I no longer go into flight mode as soon as I walk in. They make me feel confident and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Rivera to anyone who may be scared like I was. I can't thank him and the staff enough for their kindness, professionalism and for helping me get my life back. As I'm writing this I'm 5 days into healing from full upper extractions and on my way to getting dental implants. For the first time in my life, I'm excited to go back and continue my journey to finally having a beautiful smile. Thank you again, to Dr Rivera and the staff at Casa Adobes! You guys really are the best in my opinion and I'm so thankful I've found you.

5-stars for the doctor; 1-star for the receptionist.

I feel compelled to write this review on behalf of my elderly mother who is a current client at this practice. From my 20+ years experience in customer service, it is a known fact that your front desk will make or break your business. You can be a world-class surgeon, but if your front desk is rude, incompetent, or unprofessional, you will lose business. Given the fact that there are other Oral Surgery places to put our money, this is something we will take into consideration going forward.

My mother had a simple question about the bill (after having 3 teeth pulled and sitting there bleeding) and you would have thought we were accusing the receptionist of something. She was completely unprofessional - she was audibly huffing and puffing, holding her head in her hands, telling a co-worker in a stressed tone to go ask the doctor "what he told her." Meanwhile, I'm trying to ask the nurse when my mother can have something to eat and when the bleeding should stop and when the numbness might wear off, but I couldn't even get the information I needed because the receptionist was busy making a fuss about doing her job and was distracting the nurse I was talking to.

This was a very simple issue that did not warrant the attitude or exasperation exhibited by this employee. My mother has every right to know where and how her dollars are being spent. Seeing as how she is on a fixed income, she had to save up for this appointment and spend carefully up to that point. She was simply asking for clarification of her invoice and if that kind of question so easily flusters the employee, then you have a problem. It felt like she was trying to hide something, or did the math wrong, or was trying to get one over on us by the way she was acting. I was appalled. As a front desk manager (or owner of a business) I would not have tolerated this behavior.

My mother had every faith in the Dr. Kaiser and not once questioned his skills or bedside manner - and, in fact, he personally called my mother later that day to see how she was doing. That's great patient care!! However, no one should ever be made to feel that they cannot ask a question, especially about where their money is going. Take the time to explain everything, don't take it personally, and make every attempt to fix a problem where there is one. In our particular case, there wasn't even a problem - my mother just needed to see the numbers and comprehend what she was told compared to what she was paying. My mother did not even argue the issue. At all. So all the theatrics from the receptionist were completely uncalled for.

That said, everyone else in the office was fine - it was just this one employee that would personally make me feel uncomfortable about returning to this establishment.

I see all these wonderful reviews as I sit here in constant pain since my dental procedure/ wisdom tooth extractions over 3 months ago. The pain was supposed to subside in 7 days to two weeks. I never had dental issues prior.

Dr. Salas performed my procedure in which I was sedated. I have no idea what happened during that time. I went back and forth, x-ray after x-ray, and when I couldn't take it anymore, I paid $400 while in vacation to go to a specialist who informed me he hit a nerve in my mouth. Bonus: Whatever was hit, impacted my sinuses as well, and I now have excruciating pain in my ears when I fly, which is a part of my career. The staff is nice. I just regret having the surgery because now I am in non-stop mouth pain. I didn't realize the magnitude of how much this decision would impact my life. I also had a busted lip after the surgery as well. It's so troubling not knowing what happened to me while sedated and to have continual mouth pain over 3 months.

No one likes going to the dentist. I am 58 years old and have experienced numerous encounters at dental clinics both military and civilian. I must say this was the best experience i have encountered. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Johnson was really a nice person and answered all of my questions and performed the surgery fool proof. I really enjoyed talking to him. I require future surgery and feel extremely reassured as he is a very professional individual. A quick shout out to Puebo del Sol, Sierra Vista for the referral. Highly recommend!

I have really bad anxiety about dental work and I was super nervous to have my wisdom tooth removed but the employees here were so awsome. They let me keep my headphones in so I could listen to music to ease my anxiety and the actual tooth removal took less then one song. Quick and professional and when I had concerns after the removal the doctor called and checked up on me a few hours after my initial call just to make sure I was still doing well. Highly recommend.

I was referred by my dentist to be treated at Casas Adobes Oral Surgery in Sierra Vista. He identified two teeth that needed to be extracted. This was my first visit there and naturally I was anxious and nervous about the treatment. However, my visit with Dr. Rachael Prokes and her assistant went extremely well. Dr. Prokes explained my diagnosis in detail and answered all my questions completely regarding the extractions and the follow-on process for potential implants. She reviewed my medical history and discussed my options. We elected to have one tooth extracted during that visit and the other would be done in December as it would involve having my dentist section a bridge. Dr. Prokes put me at ease during the entire process of numbing my teeth and performing the extraction. Her skill in minimizing the patient’s pain and gently extracting the tooth was exceptional. The entire process went very smoothly. I also applaud her very capable assistant and the entire team at the Sierra Vista office.
