One star for a clean facility and friendly dental staff. Despite this, I will not return to this facility and encourage you to take caution if you go here. The dentist recommended 3 procedures for me after my first visit, which would likely be quite expensive. I did not have any issues at my prior dental visit, so this was surprising to hear. I got a second opinion from TWO other dentists and both did not agree with the Central Coast dentist’s recommendation and said I did not need ANY work done.

The other dentists warned me about corporate dental offices such as this and how procedures may be recommended that are not necessary. The focus on profit is concerning. If you have a treatment plan, I advise you to question the necessity of the procedures and get a second opinion before getting any work done.

I am truly one of those people who hates going to the dentist, but I found this place a couple years ago and I’ve never been happy everyone there has always been amazing from the office assistant to the hygienist to the dentist. I couldn’t be happier.. They took the time to clear me of my fears and they explain everything in detail when you need something done and why it needs to be done or why it doesn’t need to be done. They are simply amazing.

I was desperate to get an appointment in being able to sign off for an upcoming surgery. They were very pleasant and supportive and took me right in without an appointment. All of the staff was very supportive and helpful and the doctor was great at explaining everything. This place is great. I’m gonna bring the whole family here.

I’m sitting waiting for my son and a man with is son come in 10 minutes late for their appointment because of traffic. They drove 30 minutes to get here. The receptionist was refusing to let them keep the appointment and was charging them $50 for being late. Last time we were here we waiting 25 minutes before being seen. The receptionist was very unsympathetic. My personal experience was, I called on a Friday to cancel an Appointment for Monday. I recieved a text that she was going to charge me for the missed appointment when there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. I texted her back that I was not going to pay because I canceled within the time. The receptionist texted back that I was being rude. What! The dentist was very fast when she saw me, asked what I wanted instead of giving me solutions. They are not very hospitable here and seem they are just about the money. I would not recommend. Update: my 16 year son was scheduled for a crown we were there from 9AM to 11:25AM to be told we had to come back because they’re machine was broken to finish the crown we came back the next day granted I had to take another day off work to be told they didn’t match his color so we have to come back a third time. I was told we could come back anytime the next day just call back later that day when I could figure out how to get him there just to be told when I called back my the receptionist his dentist was not going to be in that day and she refused to schedule an appointment. I was understandably upset at this point trying to figure out the miscommunication when the receptionist HUNG UP ON ME when I asked to speak with the very nice hygienist that said anytime the next day would work!!! The hygienist of course made the time work as she said she would.

I made an emergency appt because I was in a lot of pain waited 2 days, when I show up the receptionist couldn’t answer any of my questions, all she could tell me is that I was there for an exam for future treatment, when I told her that I was in a lot of pain & it was for an emergency visit she just shrugged her shoulders. Receptionist could use some people skills training. The guy doing my xray was so rough and unprofessional making rude comments about how bad my teeth looked. Now the Dr who saw me was trying to tell me that the one I was having pain was on my right side when clearly it was on my left side, she looked so lost & confused. I was told I couldn’t schedule an appt unless I paid all upfront, so I had to wait 2 more days! In a lot of pain, I paid & the next day I just felt uneasy with the staff & their lack of knowledge and kindness & how unprofessional they were, as I shared my experience many people started telling me about their horrible experience with them, so I cancelled my appt & i had to beg them to get refunded which took like 15 days for them to start the refund. I got a second opinion & the other dentist/office I went to got me in the same day for treatment & I paid half the price & way better treatment. Please read all the reviews of this place & always get a second opinion. I am so happy I got a second opinion because I was told I didn’t need all the work they wanted to do.

I love this practice. Today I had an emergency and called at 0753. They got me in @0900 and the dentist was thorough, professional, and kind. I'll be okay.

I've referred a number of my friends to this dental group and will continue to do so. Thank you for being there.

My family and I are new patients of CCDC Seaside and we began our dental treatment with them in late 2023. The relationship started well but it didn't last long. Their front desk staff named Alexis is unprofessional to work with. I have never been treated with derogatory remarks such as "rude, disrespectful, working with me causes communication problems etcetera". There were a couple of incidents that our appointments were canceled caused by her incompetency. I have discussed these problems with their head dentist, Dr Renuka. To resolve it, she took off Alexis in handling our dental appointments and the like. I believe Alexis is no longer with CCDC Seaside office. It was a relief.

Another concern is their accounting department which Myrna handles. My husband had three treatment plans with Dr Renuka and we were overcharged. I found out about it when I reviewed our dental insurance site. I tried to communicate this with Myrna rightaway and requested a refund. Working with her to get the refund was not smooth. It took time before we received the first check. The last two refunds are still in limbo. We started talking about it early in November of 2024. Everything was reported to our dental insurance and was adviced to file a grievance. I made one already on our first treatment plan for overpayment, got the refund; however, for the last two treatment plans, the awaited refund is still in limbo. I'm about to file a grievance again.

A note of advice to other patients of CCDC Seaside, always access your dental insurance account (online if you have one), or always contact your dental insurance when in doubt or for clarification. Always ask your dental provider for a pre-determination/authorization of treatment plan costs. In that way, your insurance will give them the time to review a dental treatment plan before it is performed and overpayment can be avoided.
