I took my kids here for all of their first dentist visits and it was phenomenal. I've put off a dentist visit for my two oldest kids because I was so nervous of a bad dentist experience for them. Since moving here multiple of my friends recommended Childrens Dentistry or AV so I took the plunge.

Every single staff member from the front desk to the hygienists were incredibly kind and welcoming. My kids loved the fun waiting room and that helped calm their nerves right from the beginning.

One of my kids was extremely nervous but as soon as the hygienists put her in the chair and started talking to her, she started smiling and giving me thumbs up! She was thrilled that she got to choose her own flavor of toothpaste. After, my kids couldn't stop talking about their experiences and how much they love the dentist.

My one daughter had a cavity and after her followup appointments to treat it (which were also great) she said that she's going to get more cavities so she can come back 😆. I've assured her we will still be brushing and flossing but it goes to show what a wonderful place this is.

Ps my youngest is two and for a minute we thought he was going to have a hard time. The hygienists took her time to explain some methods we could use to help him and I just loved how she didn't rush or try to push him to do something new he was uncomfortable with. Because she took time, he ended up doing great and sitting through his whole cleaning on my lap.

Pss I also had to call to resolve a bill issue and the receptionist was awesome. She thoroughly investigated the issue, called insurance for me, got back to me quickly and just showed another aspect to this office being phenomenal on all sides!

I think the dentist is great, and I like the play area... but the billing oh man. Look at this bill. Can you make sense of it? My kids haven't been to this dentist in 1 year, except for a routine cleaning covered by insurance. The bill reads: "Current Balance $0.00" ok, then it says, "New Balance: $270" huh then below that summary it has a list of itemized charges, except nothing is listed, except a requirement to pay the "Balance" of $20. So what is it, $0 balance, $270 balance or $20 balance? And for what? Insurance covers routine cleanings. What exactly are we being billed for?

Av Children’s Dentistry is always on their A game. My kids are never scared to come to the dentist because everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming. We appreciate the wonderful service we get every time we come in.

Their treatment plans have always been too aggressive for us. First they wanted to cap 8 teeth with silver. We went elsewhere and have been receiving much more conservative care. This week we had some emergency pain and went back hoping they'd help. They xray'd and sent us home with a 10 visit treatment plan that included pulling 3 teeth. The patient is only 8. We'll never go back.

My experience didn’t go as expected. My son, who already has anxiety about visiting the dentist, is neurodivergent and doesn’t fully understand the process, so I was there to explain and guide him. The first dental assistant was kind and patient, even though she had difficulty getting some of the X-rays. However, when another assistant took over, it didn’t go well. As I was demonstrating what to do, she essentially told me to stop talking to him so he wouldn’t get “confused” by two people speaking. I wasn’t talking over her, just helping him understand. I was really bothered by how she spoke to me.

It was my first time taking my daughter to a pediatric dentist and I am so glad I did. They were way more thorough and the environment was welcoming. My daughter began to play as soon as we walked into the waiting room and was even comfortable enough for them to do x rays once she was in the back. Safe to say, we will continue to go.

My daughter (4 years old) had several problems with her teeth after her first two cracked and the doctor made the treatment as comfortable for not only my daughter, but for myself. She only continued treatment when everyone was in the correct mindset and stopped every single time my daughter felt the slightest discomfort. The staff is extremely nice and they seem to really work as a team. Couldn’t say enough good things about this place. I will continue to take my children here for as long as I can.

Great facility, easy for our 5 boys to be seen at the same time and still get personalized care for each one. Convenient location. We are very happy with this office for our kids.
