Been here a few times for cleanings and a root canal (floss, kids). The front staff are quick and welcoming, and the dentist and dental techs were very personable, explained the procedures well, and were very concerned with making sure I was comfortable and in as little discomfort as possible.

This place is great. I have high Anxiety with Dentists. My last Dentist retired. Ryan at the front desk gave a warm welcome. Answered all my questions. Made me feel at ease. Helped me with my paper work I forgot my glasses. Explained the financial part. I do billing my self. He was right on. Jennifer was also great in the chair she gave me the salt trick. Omg it works. Overall I am happy with this office. My surgeon and is team were great also.Dr. Hezaji listened to me and got the process going. I am very happy with my outcome. Thanks Ryan your presence at the front is above and beyond customer Service.

Lack of communication with pay. I made an appointment just for a basic cleaning and was told my insurance covers it.
I showed up, got my consultation and they said I needed a cleaning but with some laser cleaning as well. Turns out that laser cleaning cost $140 out of pocket. I said I was not ready to pay anything out of pocket today since the basic cleaning was all covered and if we can just proceed with the basic cleaning.

They ended up returning with a "No, because it's recommended together." So I took time off of work to get my teeth cleaned and never ended up getting anything done because I needed a "laser cleaning" as well.

Use this information however you please but they will basically press other issues for you to pay more out of pocket rather than what you went in for.

I am reaching out regarding my recent visits to College Grove Dental. I initially scheduled an appointment to address a specific dental concern due to the unavailability of my regular dentist. During my first visit, I consulted with Dr. Yousif, who, despite being very kind, was unable to identify the issue. I returned for a follow-up appointment and saw an endodontist, but unfortunately, the issue was still unresolved. The endodontist seemed more focused on suggesting a root canal, which I did not require.

Dr. Yousif then referred me to an oral surgeon's office, but I discovered that they do not accept my insurance. After independently locating an oral surgeon that does accept my insurance, I learned that a referral is required for the consultation. I have left two messages on the portal and also contacted the receptionist, but unfortunately, I have not received any response. How hard can it be to make a phone call or email a referral?

My whole family comes to college grove dental, after a very negative experience at Kensington dental - we feel like they’re honest and trustworthy and the whole staff is awesome. Highly recommend!

Took me over a year to write this review because I have such trauma from it. First off, I’m in my 30s with a missing tooth due to an infection that Dr Hejazi missed for 3 years, from a root canal I got there. Even though I’d complain of pain, & my gum receded to a “10!”, it took multiple professionals here to miss the infection. Hejazi told me I must be stressed from school & needed a bite guard, which didn’t even fit when it came. Thank you to Andrea who finally cared to listen and consulted a periodontist (who saw the infection without any equipment and recommended an immediate extraction.)

Then the recovery process to get an implant, which took 9 months, ended up being infected because I wasn’t properly instructed & didn’t have antibiotics. The written discharge said Tylenol & IB. My sinus was perforated and infected as well. The pain was unbelievable & went for weeks before an xray showed the crazy amount of pus clouding my head.

Dr Hejazi also offers free crown replacement as long as you keep up with your cleanings, he replaced each crown he did for me cuz they kept breaking. Also charged over 1k for each crown when my insurance told me it should have been $425, so shame on me. Call your insurance and confirm before agreeing to treatment, they also tend to use high pressure sales when agreeing to the financial aspects so you feel trapped. Definitely consult your insurance! Better yet, just don’t go here.

Dr Hejazi has great social skills but dentistry skills not so much. Please don’t put your trust or health in this place, I made that mistake for you.

I love this Dentist! I feel listened to here! The doctor is personable and caring, she immediately took to all my concerns. All the staff are friendly and nice. The communication is superb here, you will never forget your appointment, which someone like me really needs 😂 I can't recommend this place enough!

Edit 3/21/24: I had to come back and add this after my cleaning this week: The DH Isaac was an absolute joy. I really enjoyed his professionalism, expertise, and overall personableness. My teeth/ gums look and feel amazing after my cleaning. Isaac ensured I was comfortable during the entire experience, I will definitely be back! All the staff here, at every touch point, have been a pleasure to encounter.

I recently visited College Grove Dentistry for a routine check-up, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The waiting area was clean and inviting, and I didn't have to wait long before being called in.

Dr. Hejazi was extremely professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and address any concerns I had. His attention to detail and commitment to patient care was evident throughout the entire appointment. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, which further added to the positive experience.
