I’ve had such a horrible experience at this dentist. I came in and got a root canal and crown as well as a tooth extraction. Immediately following this I had severe swelling and pain that made me need to go to ER. I then proceeded repeatedly going to the dentist over the course of the next 2 months explaining I was in significant pain/discomfort and was not able to eat on that side. I was told every time it was an infection and they prescribed antibiotics everytime never doing a full examination or taking off my temporary crown to check the tooth itself. I was on antibiotics for 4 weeks with the same pain before I finally just went in and was like what the heck. The weekend dentist told me it was a failed root canal but then the other dentist told me it wasn’t I never got the same answer between the both of them. I was told I could either get it retreated as root canal or just pull it, I decided to just get it pulled and a bone graft done. As I get it pulled out the dentist told me the reason why I had the pain wasn’t because it was a failed root canal, it was because when the root canal was performed the root was broken and showed it to me. He then performs a bone graft and sutures me shut. It’s now been a couple weeks since I got that done and there is still pain in the gums and feels like there is something sharp on the inside and there is also something sharp sticking out of area. So either tooth fragments were left behind or the bone graft was poorly put in and it’s falling out/stabbing the inside of my gums. More times I ever thought I was gonna have to go to this place for JUST getting a root canal.

Dr. Romero is the best! I had three cavities to be filled and I was terrified. He walked me through the whole process reassuring me that if I felt any pain we can go ahead and use a numbing shot. He was right I did not need a shot there was no pain. He should just rename his business to the gentle dentist. Thank you so much, Doc! I will refer my friends and family here.

I had such a great experience here. Needless to say, like most of us, I hate going to the dentist, but everything here was simple, professional, nice, effortless and painless. I had broken a tooth and made an appt online. When I arrived they couldn't find that appt, but got me scheduled right then and there. I have an HMO dental insurance. The outstanding receptionist told me exactly what to do to get the visit covered. That was accomplished in 5 minutes. The intake took another 5 minutes. I saw Dr. Van Dusen 5 minutes after that and was then in a chair. He expertly evaluated the situation and told me I needed a crown, what the cost was and that he could do it right then. I was there less than 2 hours. The tech that did my xrays and fitted the temporary crown was incredibly sweet. The crown did fall out later that day, but I called them and went back this morning and another tech placed it back in effortlessly. Since then I have no pain and the fit is perfect. Can't say enough good things and will be so glad to go back, without fear, and have the permanent put in. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Van Dusen is great! He has never once made me feel judged which is the biggest thing I was looking for in a dentist! The office is beautiful and the ladies in front and his assistants were very professional and helpful. I will always recommend Dr. Van Dusen for anyone who needs a dentist! Their cost is very reasonable and they even have options for financing (care credit) if needed so I never felt like I was put in a bind financially!!

Look, not everyone can pay full weeks wages for a tooth extraction. This was the case for an employee of mine. Comfort dental was a life saver. The exam and extraction was $155. Less than 1/3 of 3 other places we called. Not only that the everything about the office was professional ,clean and the staff was kind. The doc could not determine which tooth was causing pain and extracted 2 with no extra cost. I would recommend comfort dental 7 days a week and twice know Sunday.

What's more, he was in debilitating pain. We showed up w no appointment and the procedure was done before I could get back from getting an oil change down the street.

I have never in my life been to a cleaning this aggressive and painful. I came in as a new client after going to one in Colorado for 10+ years. The staff up front as well as the dental assistant were all pleasant and nice. Dr. Vandusen was awful. He was incredibly aggressive during my cleaning, even cutting my lip at one point. Even hours later, I still have a fat lip. I was visibly wincing during my entire time in there and was basically showered in water. He lacks any bedside manner and was very cocky and rude. I will never return to this location. I cried in my car for 20 minutes before being able to drive away. So so disappointed 🙁
