This is the ONLY place in town to go for a thyroid biopsy. Dr. Rainwater is skilled, careful, thorough, knowledgeable, and isn’t single-mindedly focused on convincing patients to have their thyroid glands removed the way some other NM pathologists are. He also makes sure to get a valid sample on the first go so you don’t have to keep coming back for re-jabs. His staff is also outstanding. If you get Jamila as a nurse, you’ll be a lucky patient because she’s super smart and on top of everything. She actually called me after hours to let me know my results were clear, which, for someone with a complex cancer history, was so helpful and moving. Just an all-round excellent clinic.

I had such a positive experience in this office. Dr. Rainwater was so personable, respectful, thorough and unhurried in his explanations and suggestions. His assistant, who administered the tests, was equally thorough, friendly, patient and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this practice. When you come here, you will not regret it!
