I was referred to Dr. Ehsan and Dr. Bakllamaja in at the San Francisco Implant Institute to have a tooth extracted before later having an implant placed. During the extraction, which I was told would take 45 minutes and instead took 2 hours, Dr. Bakllamaja broke the crown of the tooth next to the tooth she was working on. She either failed to notice or to tell me until the end, when she said there was a scratch on that crown. She did not have me look at it and didn't mention it further. Upon getting in the car and looking in the mirror, I realized that more than half of the crown was missing. When I immediately called her to discuss it, she denied that she had even done it. When I returned to the office to have the wound examined, I met with Dr. Ehsan who also claimed no responsibility. In fact, the computer in the office displayed their appointment calendar which showed my appointment with a large note saying, "DO NOT CONFIRM." While I understand that accidents happen, the complete lack of communication and outright lies were astounding and their carelessness has resulted in many hours and thousands of dollars in dental work to rectify. Obviously I did not return to them for the implant procedure and would never consult them again.

Dr. David Ehsan and his office staff are an awesome group of individuals. The service that is provided here by the staff and Dr. Ehsan is top notch from begin to end. His staff is professional, friendly and provides exceptional service. Dr. David Ehsan is truly amazing. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in his field but he is smart, professional and ensures that you fully understand the procedure and feel comfortable before moving forward. Its great to see a doctor that truly cares about their patient. I needed two extractions and two dental implants. Dr. Ehsan was extremely thoughtful and did an amazing job. During the procedure he would pause and check in with me multiple times to be sure I was feeling okay but also to explain what he was doing and what will come next. For someone who naturally has anxiety when it comes to anything related to dental work, I was put at ease and felt very comfortable. He was meticulous and worked wonders! After the procedure he made a point to check in with me on a few different occasions to be sure I was doing okay and not experiencing any pain or discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. David Ehsan!

I recently had oral surgery done by Dr. Ehsan and my experience was second to none. I felt safe and cared for throughout the whole process, from the initial consultation, to the surgery, and the follow up check-in appointments. The staff is also very transparent about costs and I never was caught off guard by any bills. I'm really thankful I decided to get my procedure done with Dr. Ehsan.

My visit to Dr. Ehsan’s office was a blessing, the pain I was having with my wisdom teeth, gone. The appointment was setup in such a short time once I expressed how I was feeling pain and was being referred, it was a smooth process setting appointment and the staff was very welcoming and comforting. The office was very clean and it seemed they were well prepared for this new way of seeing patients with COVID protocol as this was one of my first Dr visits during pandemic.

I recently had a molar removed by Dr. Ehsan. As previous posts have said it was not an inexpensive procedure, but Dr. Ehsan and his staff were excellent througout. I was told to expect face swelling, possible bleeding and soreness. I had none of those problems. They had me on antibiotics even before the surgery. Dr. Ehsan called the night of the surgery to see how I was doing. Dr, Ehsan was recommended by my dentist Jim Const who is superb as well.

I would recommend this practice to everyone! I have nothing but positive experiences from the moment I made the appointment, through the procedure and after. Dr. Ehsan is professional and caring. His entire staff are ALL welcoming and wonderful. I got all four, impacted wisdom teeth out. The procedure...wow!
I was prepped. Dr. E came in and said hello and have a nice nap. I was asleep the entire time. When I came to, no nausea, no pain. Swelling was minimal. He gave me a little syringe washer, thorough instructions on do’s, don’ts, and foods to eat. I was prescribed medication for pain but didn’t even have to take any. That night I received a call from Dr. Ehsan to see how I was doing too!

These guys are not inexpensive but they are first class. I felt completely safe and surrounded by the best in class from the reception to the assistants to of course, the doctor himself. Highly recommend when you have something that needs serious attention with your teeth!
